Expected much more Liked · Room size. Room service food taste. Bed. We asked for a late checkout (1 pm) and the hotel allowed it. Disliked · Customer service (hotel & breakfast restaurant) and room facilities were bad, specific examples going in chronological order below: 1. When we reached the room wasn't allocated despite us reaching at 5 pm and despite the hotel calling to "check when we'd be reaching". We had to wait for about 15-20 minutes in the lobby after checking in just to be assigned a room 2. We asked for a crib to be in the room as we had our new 7 months old child with us, but no crib was in the room when we reached 3. When we tried calling the reception, the line was busy 9/10 times 4. Despite the hotel knowing we're 3 people including our baby, the room amenities (tooth brush, towels, etc ...) were all set for 1 guest only 5. Breakfast timings finished too early (buffet closes at 10:30) 6. When we reached the breakfast restaurant at 10:25, most of the bigger tables were empty. So we asked to be sat at one with a good view. The waiter declined and said they're waiting for "big groups", this was confusing as the buffet was supposed to close in 5 minutes. We suggested 2-3 other options but the waiter still declined, so we sat down at a smaller table. No big groups showed up and the tables remained empty until we finished our food and left at around 11:30. 7. For the last hour of our stay, we wanted to relax in the bathtub (one of the main features of the room), but unfortunately the water only worked on the blue (cold) side. It seems the hot water was not even connected. We knew the room had hot water as the shower worked fine, but the bathtub only had cold water. As it was our last hour, we didn't bother calling the reception since the lines were busy and service was slow. They would've probably taken the whole hour trying to fix the issue. 8. No online checkout option was offered to us. We had to wait in line for about 15-20 minutes with the guests checking in. The receptionist spent a good 10 minutes with the group in front of me talking about the food scene in another country (India). Very unprofessional as he could see I was standing in line for the entire time.

Good hotel, great residential complex. But two things really stand out—in a bad way. First, the scent in the public areas, especially at the reception. The air freshener they use is so overpowering that after just a few minutes there, the scent lingers in my nose for a full day. My clothes absorb it, my nose dries out completely, and it feels like I need some kind of treatment afterward. This isn’t just a subtle fragrance—it’s an aggressive, heavy-handed approach to scenting a space. You can’t smell anything else. It’s rare to encounter something this intense, usually only in budget hotels or low-end public spaces. Second, the poolside music. During the day, it’s noticeable but bearable. But at exactly 5 PM, they crank up the volume to a level where you can’t even hear your own thoughts. Talking to the person next to you becomes impossible. A pool should be a place to relax, unwind, maybe even get some work done while enjoying the sun. Instead, the music blasts so loudly that the only thing you want to do is escape. It’s surprising that a place positioning itself as high-end hasn’t figured out that subtlety—both in scent and sound—is key to a truly luxurious experience.
