Had an excellent stay at the hotel for 3 nights. Special thanks to Roger who made us feel extremely welcome each morning at the restaurant, would definitely stay here again because of this. Richard was really hospitable as well and we appreciated the great service.

Stayed here for my soul searching trip. The room is great, enough space and good light, i stayed at floor 4. Theres a lift so its good, and the hotel aesthetics inside and out is so nice. The service is great , i have my breakfast there and was served by Roger Gabi. I was always greeted by Roger with a cheerful aura and gave recommendation for a cute coffee shop nearby. The location is very great, its close to earl court tube station which is few stations away from the main attractions. There are nearby restaurants as well. It made my first time experience in London so wonderful.

Liked the look of this hotel and it's quirky charm looking at the photos. We chose it because the photos portrayed decent sized rooms, sadly this was not the case as our room was tiny and cramped with the TV at the foot of the bed instead of against the wall. It was very odd. Air conditioning is noisy and we heard another guest mention it too. Awesome breakfast with the best choice we have ever experienced. Couldn't seem to pre-book breakfast so booked it on arrival to find out hadn't been booked at all when we went down in the morning. Positives and negatives for this hotel.

Do not stay here unless you want to be stuck with a bill you did not consent to. Prior to check in, my husband and I had paid for the booking in FULL through my credit card portal. At time of check in, we were asked for a credit card to be put on file for a $50 incidental charge (pretty standard)….right away I noticed that a hold had been place for over $1,000- I immediately went to the front desk to ask about the charge, where I was quickly dismissed and not even given time to finish my full sentence, before being assured that this was standard and I would be refunded in 3 days. Wouldn’t you know that instead of being refunded in 3 days, the hold was posted to my credit card account. After reaching out to IHG customer service regarding this charge, they agreed that this was an error and instructed me that the hotel would reach out to me specifically regarding my claim. The hotel finally reached out to me, only to tell me that this was basically my issue and I needed to contact my travel agent (aka my credit card agency). It gets worse…after confirming with my credit card agency that they did in fact send the full payment to the hotel MONTHS ago, the hotel is asking for additional receipts to confirm payment (even though I also sent them my receipt from my credit card agency with my payment confirmation)…meanwhile I am stuck with an extra 1k charge and a bill that is coming due soon. From a customer perspective, the proper thing to do would’ve been to refund me and then dispute the issue of payment with my credit card, not leave the customer to carry a 1k EXTRA payment (especially when I gave a receipt that I did in fact pay to stay here already). At the very least, I would’ve accepted if Hotel Indigo Kensington had just asked for a little more time to confirm the details and payments of my stay. Instead, in so many words, I was basically told that this is my issue to fix. Being disappointed is an understatement. I worry for people who use other payment options and don’t have the backing of a major credit card. Please do not stay here and go through the same headache. There are plenty of other hotels in the area.
