Your tour begins and ends at Muscat International Airport (MCT), with return airport transfers.
Return flights are not included in your package and must be purchased separately. If your chosen tour departure date is guaranteed at the time of booking, you may be able to purchase flights immediately. If your tour departure date is not yet guaranteed (still pending minimum numbers), flights should not be booked until you receive an update on the status of your tour.
Please book your flights to arrive at Muscat International Airport (MCT) at any time on Day 1 and depart after 12pm on Day 7.
Return airport transfers are included in your tour on the first and last day only.
You must complete your Traveller Details form within 7 days of booking. Following its completion, our Tours Concierge Team will be in touch to assist with any additional arrangements – including flights.

It is your responsibility to make your own travel arrangements and ensure that you arrive at your starting location on your chosen tour start date.
A visa may be required for the destination you are visiting. It is each traveller’s responsibility to ensure they are holding a current visa. Accessing money: ATMs are easily accessible, with credit cards widely accepted within cities. Cash is advised when visiting rural areas.

Climate: The climate is usually warm, with Muscat temperature averaging 25°C in winter and up to 38°C in summer. However, mountainous regions are often cooler and can go as low as 10°C in the winter.
Alcohol: Non-Muslims are permitted to bring in two litres of alcohol by air only. Alcohol should not be consumed in public places apart from licensed premises, such as hotels & restaurants. It is illegal to carry liquor in your car. In addition, the police take a serious view of traffic offences in which alcohol is involved and fines may be imposed.
Dress: Oman is a Muslim country and it is important that, as guests of the country, everyone should respect the local customs. It is recommended that women not wear strappy sundresses, miniskirts, shorts or low necked dresses in public places (e.g. offices, souks, town and shopping areas). The most suitable wear in public is shoulders covered and below knee length skirts with a top that is appropriately long (below the hip) is also acceptable. Men should wear shirts and long trousers. Shorts or beachwear should not be worn except at the beach or pool area.
Photography: Do not take photographs of individuals without their permission. Women in particular, do not like being photographed. It is forbidden to take pictures of military facilities, borders and airports. Observe ‘NO PHOTOGRAPHY’ signs.
