• Up to 7 days after purchase - 100%
• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before departure date: no cancellation fees apply
• Cancellations within 48 hours of departure date, late arrivals and no-shows: 100% cancellation fee applies

Changes to Booking

48 hours’ notice is required to change a booking you have made

• Please bring swimwear, a towel, a change of dry clothes, secure footwear such as sandshoes or adventure sandals (no thongs), waterproof sunscreen, cap to wear under helmet (optional)
• A per person rafting levy of A$30 applies, payable on day of travel to Raging Thunder Adventures directly

Availability:

• Available every day
  • Cairns: Departs 10.30am; returns 9.30pm (approximately)
  • Mission Beach: Departs 11.45am; returns 8pm (approximately)
  • Self-drive meet at the Golden Gumboot, Tully at 12.55pm; returns 6.30pm (approximately)
• Bookings valid to 31 March 2026
• Self-Drive: Guests who have not purchased a transfer upgrade must self-drive to meeting point at the Golden Gumboot, Tully at 12.55pm.
• Pick-Up/Drop-Off Point: Return transfers are available from Cairns and Misson Beach hotels. Please purchase the ‘Return Transfers Upgrade’ ticket and advise of the accommodation location at the time of booking
• Please ensure you are at your pick-up location before the scheduled departure time. Late arrivals and no-shows voids offer

Important:

• Exclusions: A$30 per person Rafting Levy, drinks, gratuities and transfers (unless relevant package purchased)
• Please advise of dietary requirements at the time of booking.
• The river rafting component of the tour will run for approximately seven hours
• This is a shared tour, meaning you will likely share your ride with other guests
• Hire shoes are available for hire during rafting activity from A$5 per pair, payable directly to Raging Thunder Adventures
• Digital photos and drinks are available for purchase after the rafting tour, payable directly to Raging Thunder Adventures. Please bring cash or credit card for any additional purchases

Terms & Conditions:

• Tour itineraries may change or be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions and river hazards
• Children must be aged 13+ to participate in this experience. All children under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a paying parent/adult guardian (18+)
• Participant requirements:
  • No experience is necessary, however a moderate level of swimming ability is required
  • A basic understanding of English is necessary. River Guides will assess English speaking and comprehension at the time of pick-up; if there are concerns about your ability to understand instructions and communicate with the River Guides, you will not be able to participate in the tour and no refund will be provided
  • All rafting participants must disclose any medical condition prior to travelling with Raging Thunder
  • By booking this tour you confirm that you do not have a medical condition that would make it unsafe to participate
  • If you have a medical condition or are unsure that you are physically able to participate, please consult with a medical practitioner before booking
  • White water rafting tour is not suitable for anyone who might be pregnant
  • A medical questionnaire, release, assumption of risk, indemnity form and signed waiver are required from all participants. Travel insurance is recommended
