Dive into the deep blue ocean and explore a hundred-year-old shipwreck from up close on this unique, eco-friendly sea scooter safari with Ariki Adventures. Gear up with masks and snorkel out from the beach with knowledgeable guides by your side, riding out into the open ocean with your sea scooter. Experience a stunning marine wonderland as you pass the Coral Gardens, brimming with turtles, puffer fish, reef sharks and more. Then, head for the shipwreck of the RMS Maitai, which sank in 1916 while on a voyage from San Francisco to Wellington. You can choose to view the shipwreck from the surface or take a deep dive down below for a closer look at this ancient ship, reclaimed by the coral reef.
