1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Luxury Escapes loyalty program “Societe” and any associated benefits and rewards. They are intended to protect both you as the member and Luxury Escapes Travel Pty Ltd (ACN 150 650 927). It is your responsibility to read and understand these terms.

1.2 These Terms and Conditions are effective as of the date specified above and may be amended by Luxury Escapes from time to time. The most recent Terms and Conditions are always available on the website. You will be provided with the opportunity to review these Terms and Conditions when joining the Program and following any updates.

1.3 Membership in the program constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.

2. Definitions

2.1 In these Terms and Conditions unless the context otherwise specified:

“Activity” means any transaction or action that earns or uses Points, such as making a purchase or redeeming Points.

“Eligible Products” means products and services that qualify for earning Points or Status Credits, excluding flights, gift cards, service fees, and deposits.

“Luxury Escapes” means Luxury Escapes Travel Pty Ltd (ACN 150 650 927).

“Member” means an individual who has joined the program.

“Member Account” means a member’s online account where they can manage their points, status tier, member benefits, other vouchers and personal details.

“Personal Information” has the meaning given to it in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

“Privacy Policy” means Luxury Escapes Privacy Policy, available on the Luxury Escapes website.

“Points” means the rewards currency earned by members for purchases and activities within the program.

“Societe” means the Luxury Escapes loyalty program operating online and in-store.

“Status Tiers” means the various membership levels (e.g., Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) that provide Members with different benefits.

“Status Credits” means credits earned by Members that determine their tier level.

3. Eligibility

3.1 To participate in Societe, you must be a resident of Australia.

3.2 Membership is limited to one account per individual.

4. Membership

4.1 Membership is free to join and open to all eligible individuals as per the eligibility criteria.

4.2 To become a Member of the Program:

a) Register online via the Luxury Escapes website, mobile app, or customer support

b) Existing customers will be invited to opt into Societe. Membership will not be automatic.

4.3 Keep your membership and personal information safe. Luxury Escapes is not responsible for unused points, unused vouchers, or failure to accurately identify yourself.

4.4 Membership is non-transferable and strictly for individual use. This means you cannot share your membership, points, or any rewards with anyone else, including friends, family, or colleagues. Additionally, using your membership for business purposes is prohibited. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account suspected of fraudulent activity, unauthorised sharing, breaches of these Terms and Conditions, or any misuse.

5. Earning Points

5.1 Members earn Points on eligible purchases made through the Luxury Escapes website, app, retail stores, or customer support. Exclusions include:

  • Gift card purchases
  • Service (e.g. credit card) fees & merchant (flight service) fees
  • Other exclusions specified by Luxury Escapes

5.2 Points are awarded on the checkout date of the travel booking or experience. This applies uniformly across all eligible transaction types. Points can be earned on eligible transactions paid with a gift card, but gift card purchases themselves do not earn Points.

5.3 Points earn will be calculated at different rates based on products purchases. These rates may change.

5.4 During specified campaign periods, bonus points may be earned for participation in limited-time promotions. Points promotions are subject to change and Luxury Escapes reserves the right to modify and remove promotions at their discretion.

5.5 Points expire after 36 months of account inactivity. Activity includes earning Points, redeeming Points, or qualifying for tier progression. Expiry may also reset with non-Points earning transactions, such as gift card purchases.

5.6 Members will be notified if their Points are close to expiring. Luxury Escapes may provide a grace period to reinstate expired Points at its discretion.

5.7 Points are non-transferable and cannot be pooled between accounts. They are awarded to the account holder only.

5.8 Luxury Escapes reserves the right to add or remove Points from a Member’s account or issue Points as a dispute resolution.

6. Earning Status Credits

6.1 Members earn Status Credits on eligible purchases, including hotels, tours, flights, and cruises. Status Credits will not be earned on experiences, optional extras, gift cards, insurance, or LuxPlus+ membership fees.

6.2 Status Credits determine your tier level and are earned on eligible purchases. The number of Status Credits earned varies by product category (e.g., tours, hotels, and flights).

6.3 Status Credits are awarded upon the completion of eligible travel experiences or purchases.

6.4 Status Credits will accumulate over a 12-month Membership Year. If Members reach a new tier during this period, they will enjoy the benefits immediately.

6.5 Status Credits expire at the end of each Membership Year. They cannot be carried over or transferred.

6.6 Status credits are non-transferable and non-redeemable

6.7 Tier progression requires meeting two criteria: cumulative spend and nights booked by the lead account holder.

6.8 Nights are calculated based on the lead booker only. For example, if two rooms are booked for 7 nights (14 room nights), only 7 nights will count.

6.9 Members may participate in Status Credit promotions during specific periods, as determined by Luxury Escapes. Status credit promotions are subject to change and Luxury Escapes reserves the right to modify and remove promotions at their discretion.

7. Status Tiers

7.1 The Program features Status Tiers (e.g., Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum), with benefits increasing as Members progress.

7.2 Members achieve higher tiers by accumulating Status Credits and meeting tier-specific spend and nights requirements.

7.3 Existing customers will be pre-qualified based on their last 12 months’ spend. However, the highest tier available at launch will be Gold. Customers eligible for higher tiers (e.g., Diamond) will be capped at Gold. New Members will be enrolled in Bronze upon launch.

7.4 Members enjoy the benefits of their new tier immediately upon qualification, with tier benefits extending to the end of the following Membership Year.

7.5 Tier regression will occur if Members fail to meet eligibility requirements. Luxury Escapes may provide a grace period or a “soft landing” allowing only one tier regression at a time.

7.6 Tier benefits, upgrade opportunities, and lounge access rules will be communicated clearly to Members and can be viewed on the Luxury Escapes website.

7.7 Members must consume their tier benefits during the Membership Year in which they qualified for the tier or by the end of the subsequent Membership Year if they were recently upgraded to that tier.

7.8 Room upgrades are subject to availability and apply only to select Flash deals. The benefit can only be used by the main account holder and cannot be transferred to others. If a booking with an upgrade benefit is cancelled, Luxury Escapes cannot guarantee the availability of a new complimentary upgrade for the rebooked trip.

7.9 Transfers are valid for international Luxury Escapes holiday packages and are limited to an Executive Sedan that accommodates 1–3 passengers and 2 suitcases. Transfers must be within a 30km radius of Australian airports, with additional fees payable for exceeding this radius or for extra requirements. This benefit is limited to the main account holder and is non-transferable.

7.10 Lounge access is available only for international Luxury Escapes holiday bookings and is limited to selected Australian airport lounges, including Aspire lounges in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Plaza Brisbane. This benefit is non-transferable and available only to the main account holder.

7.11 Members may redeem promo codes for tours optional extras, valid until the end of the following Membership Year. Promo codes are non-transferable. Multiple promo codes for tour optional extras cannot be used in a single transaction. Promo codes will not be reissued in the case of cancellation or refund.

7.12 Travelshoot promo codes are provided to Members upon reaching the applicable tier. These codes are valid until the end of the following Membership Year and are non-transferable. Multiple Travelshoot vouchers cannot be applied to a single transaction, and promo codes will not be reissued if a Travelshoot booking is cancelled or refunded.

8. Redeeming Points

8.1 Members can redeem Points for eligible products, services, or upgrades as specified on the Luxury Escapes website.

8.2 A minimum of 2,000 Points is required for redemption.

8.3 Points can be redeemed for flights, hotels, tours, and other eligible products but cannot be applied toward payment fees (e.g., credit card surcharges), flight purchase fees, or deposits.

8.4 Points have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash unless explicitly permitted by a promotion.

8.5 Reward availability is limited.

9. Returns and Refunds

9.1 If a Member returns a product or cancels a booking, Luxury Escapes will reverse Points and Status Credits earn associated with the purchase.

9.2 For partial refunds, Points and Status Credits will be adjusted proportionally.

9.3 Points redeemed before a refund will not be reinstated.

10. Termination and Modifications

10.1 Luxury Escapes reserves the right to terminate or modify the Program or these Terms and Conditions at any time.

10.2 If a Member breaches these Terms, Luxury Escapes may suspend or terminate their account and cancel associated Points, Status Credits, and Rewards.

10.3 Members may opt out of the Program at any time by contacting customer support.

11. Privacy Statement

11.1 Luxury Escapes collects and uses Personal Information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. For more information, visit https://luxuryescapes.com/au/privacy-policy.

11.2 Members can request updates or corrections to their Personal Information via customer support.
