Fuel up for the day with breakfast before heading off to browse homemade goods at the Margaret River Farmers Market, where your guide will be collecting farm-fresh goodies for dinner. Later your group will embark on a half-day nature hike headed by holistic healer, Dan. After your scenic walk from Cape Leeuwin to Cape Naturaliste, healer Dan will guide a light shamanic meditation, allowing you to appreciate the serenity of nature. Cool off with a swim and refuel during a picnic on the beach before returning to camp for a gentle yin yoga session in the barn.
Tonight the Fair Harvest Permaculture owner, Jodie, will guide you through the basics of permaculture cooking in a garden-to-plate cooking class and will explain how to nourish your body with organic produce.
Today you’ll welcome the morning with a balancing yoga and sound meditation experience, harnessing the ancient healing powers of ambient noise which has been practised in ancient cultures, including Aboriginal communities for over 40,000 years.
Next, you will get a taste of the famous Margaret River wine region at a biodynamic winery. Here you will learn about the natural wine-making process and why it is gaining in popularity.
Your last meal as a group will take place on the way back to Perth at Meelup Farmhouse, located in a magical spot in Eagle Bay. Savour regional produce from a gourmet picnic hamper and find a spot in the sun to soak up your time together.
Your final stop will be at the Origin Markets in Busselton, where around 70 Western Australian creatives, makers and growers showcase their homemade goods and food – offering the perfect opportunity to pick up a memento for home.
At approximately 5pm you will say goodbye to your new friends and return to your central Perth drop-off location feeling renewed and refreshed.
