Update 12 December 2023, 9am AEST: Hon Thom Cable Car service is officially back in operation from 9 December 2023. Guests checking in from 9 December 2023 onwards will receive tickets as included in the package with no other alternative options. Guests who have already checked in before that date will still have their choice of either cable car tickets or an alternative option.
Update 27 September 2023, 10.45am AEST: Hon Thom Cable Car has begun technical maintenence expected to last until 31 October 2023. Guests whose package includes a roundtrip cable car trip may choose one of the following to substitute for their cable car ride:
- One afternoon tea per guest per stay to be served in villa or in The Bay Kitchen
- One 30-minute express treatment per guest per stay at The Spa (advance bookings are highly recommended)
- One VIP ticket to Kiss the Stars live show per guest per stay. This show operates Wednesday – Monday at 8:30pm.
