Changes to Booking

48 hours’ notice is required to change a booking you have made

• Passengers check-in at Waiheke Wings base 10 minutes prior to the scheduled flight departure time

Important:

• All tours are subject to availability and weather. All passengers must receive a safety briefing prior to departure
• Lunch venue is subject to availability. During the wintertime, the Batch winery only open from Thursday to Sunday. An alternative venue will be selected for Monday to Wednesday
• Luggage weight limit of 15kg per person on board the aircraft. Luggage over 5kg must be made aware to Auckland Seaplanes prior to check-in. Luggage over 15kg can be arranged by notifying Island Aviation staff
• If passengers have dangerous goods, they must declare them
• The aircrafts are licensed by the Department of Conservation and the Auckland Council to visit pest-free islands in the Hauraki Gulf
• Please prepare for your trip by being alert for stowaways such as Argentine ants, rainbow skinks, soil, seeds, mice or rats
• Make sure all food is packed at the source and sealed in plastic pest-proof containers with a lid
• Ensure cardboard boxes are closed and taped – there must be no opportunity for a pest to access the box in transit
• Thoroughly check any camping gear or overnight gear for stowaways. Gear that has been stored is high-risk.
• The restaurant venue can be changed to Stonyridge or Oyster Inn with an additional $20pp (retail)
• Ferry ticket is an open ticket which means that guests can stay on the island after lunch, let the team know your preference in advance
• Please allow up to 3.5 hours for this experience

Terms & Conditions:

• Flights require a minimum booking of two people (2+) to proceed
• Children under two years are free of charge
• Children aged 2–11 are charged 75% of the adult fare provided at least two adults are travelling on the flight. Passengers 12 years and older pay the adult fare
• If an individual passenger’s weight exceeds 110kg please inform the staff prior to the event
• Reservations are held only when weights are received and full passenger details provided
• Tours and aircraft substitutions are subject to Management and/or pilot discretion, weather, air-traffic control and availability. In the event of bad weather, providing there is availability, date changes are welcome or in the worst-case scenario, cancellations
• Island Aviation will not be liable for any loss, damage, additional expenses or inconvenience arising from, or incidental to, any delay in service. Island Aviation works in conjunction with other tour operators and is not liable for their acts or omissions, whether negligent or otherwise. Travel and admissions will be subject to the conditions imposed by the operators, which may limit or exclude liability for personal injury or property damage
