  • Departure/Return Point: Matiatia Ferry Terminal, Waiheke Island. When disembarking from the ferry, you will see a Terra & Tide guide holding a welcome board

Travelling to/from Waiheke Island:

  • Please note, ferry tickets are not included and guests must make their own way to Waiheke Island
  • Ferries can be booked online or at ticket machines at the ferry terminal: 99 Quay Street, Auckland CBD. Please catch the 9am ferry to arrive in time for this tour
  • This experience will finish in time for you to catch the 5pm ferry from Waiheke Island back to Auckland

Important:

  • This experience is not recommended for children under 8 years old
  • Lunch, snacks and non-alcoholic drinks (as stated above) are included in the tour price. Pacific Star is also licensed for the supply of alcohol and BYO is allowed in reasonable quantities
  • Menu is seasonal and subject to change
  • Please notify at the time of booking of any dietary requirements and menu preference
  • Set menu restrictions apply. Any excess amount must be paid directly to vendors
  • If you suffer from sea sickness, it is recommended that you take sea sickness medication before sailing. No refunds will be given for tours cut short by sea sickness.
  • Please allow up to seven hours for this experience
  • Please note, the following rules must be adhered to when visiting the pest-free islands within The Hauraki Gulf: All food must be in sealed containers (cardboard boxes must be closed and taped so no pests can get in during transit), all footwear and gear must be clean and free of soil, and all camping gear must be checked for pests before departure
  • Maximum passenger capacity for vessel is 12 guests

Terms & Conditions:

  • Minimum of two people required to book. Single person bookings will not be accepted. Minimum of four guests required for tour to go ahead
  • Tours are minimum number dependent and may be cancelled at the discretion of Terra & Tide. Participants will be informed within a reasonable timeframe of a cancellation with the option of a transfer or refund
  • Tours operate rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, Terra & Tide will inform participants within a reasonable timeframe of a cancellation with the option of a transfer or refund
  • Vessel is subject to change depending on availability
  • Late arrivals and no-shows voids offer

Cancellations:

  • Cancellations made more than 7 days before tour departure date: a 10% cancellation fee will be deducted
  • Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before tour departure day: a 50% cancellation fee will be deducted unless you rebook (subject to availability)
  • Cancellations within 48 hours of tour departure date, late arrivals and no-shows: 100% cancellation fee applies and no refund

Changes to Booking:

  • 7 days’ notice is required to change a booking you have made. Rescheduling fees may apply, payable directly to Terra & Tide

  • Entire value must be used in one visit; any unused portions will be forfeited, and cannot be used at a later date
