• Go in for an immersive 5-day scuba diving course taking you from beginner to a Certified Open Water Scuba Diver, in the best place to get certified- Australia’s Great Barrier Reef
• The course includes 9 beautiful dives at some of the best dive sites around Cairns, and you will also have plenty of time to relax and snorkel by the reefs during the training
• All the needed gear as well as hotel transfers and accommodation (for the last 2 nights) on the boat are provided
• Day 1 & 2: Learn the basics of scuba diving - both theory and pool (heated) lessons at our Training Centre
• Day 3, 4 & 5: Spend 3 days/2Nights on the Outer Barrier Reef on our premium liveaboard dive boats. Includes 9 dives (4 training & 5 recreational including a guided night dive)
• Chinese language courses commence on Wednesday. Japanese-language courses commence on Thursday. English is available every day except Sunday

Additional information

• It is a dive course requirement that you be able to swim 200 metres or snorkel 300 metres and tread water/float for 10 minutes
• Do not fly within 24 hours of diving
• Digital underwater cameras are available for hire onboard our dive boats for a cost of AUD40 per dive. Please note you will not be able to use the underwater camera until you are a certified diver
• Prior to commencing your Learn to Dive Course you are required to complete the self-assessment Entry Level Student Dive Medical Declaration
• Surcharge: Due to significant volatility in fuel supply and operational costs, a surcharge will apply and be collected at check-in on the day of travel (Per person - $25 AUD). What to bring
