Your cruise begins in Dublin, Ireland and ends in Reykjavik, Iceland, with one night of pre- and two nights of post-cruise accommodation.
Check-in at your pre-cruise stay in Dublin is available from 3pm on Day 1 (7 May 2025). Your cruise then departs from Dublin Ocean Pier at 5pm on Day 2 and disembarks in Reykjavik at 7am on Day 12. Check-out from your post-cruise accommodation is at 12pm on Day 14 (20 May 2025). Information on boarding times will be provided prior to your departure date; please ensure you arrive in time for boarding.
Return international economy class flights from Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL), Brisbane (BNE) and Perth (PER) to Dublin (DUB) and from Reykjavik (KEF) are included in your package. Departures from other cities are available for a surcharge. Please see the ‘Fine Print’ for details.

Today and tomorrow offer a special treat, as you arrive in Dublin, the capital of Ireland. Discover a modern metropolis packed with art galleries, fashion boutiques, fine dining restaurants and spectacular nightlife. Explore the lively modern city, set against a backdrop of centuries-old landmarks like the grand St. Patrick’s Cathedral and the medieval Christ Church. For those seeking echoes of the past, Dublin’s historic streets offer a glimpse into its Viking origins and previous Georgian splendour.
Make your way to the InterContinental Dublin, an IHG Hotel, where old-school charms meet modern luxury. Be treated to exemplary service and listen to the soft sounds of a grand piano in the Lobby Lounge over a glass of wine, then feast on succulent Irish classics at Seasons Restaurant.

Day 6: Shiant Islands – Stornoway, Isle of Lewis
Arriving early this morning, you’ll explore the Shiant Islands, a deserted cluster off Scotland’s northwest coast and an extension of the Outer Hebrides. Once inhabited, these islands become a haven for nesting seabirds during the summer breeding season, attracting Atlantic puffins, black-legged kittiwakes, northern fulmars, and razorbills, as well as nesting white-tailed eagles.
Set out on a Zodiac cruise around the islands, navigating the breathtaking cliffs of Garbh Eilean, known for its striking basalt columns and ideal nesting sites for these large bird populations.
After lunch onboard, you’ll arrive in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, steeped in history from its Viking past and home to ancient standing stone circles. Your afternoon excursion, ‘Ancient Lewis & Blackhouse Village’, begins with a visit to Callanish, often called Scotland’s Stonehenge, featuring 32 stones believed to be used for astronomical observations.

Day 8: Lerwick, Shetland Islands – Isle of Noss
Get ready for an exciting day in Lerwick, Britain’s most northerly town – a bustling seaport with over 7,000 residents and stunning architecture. Begin at the award-winning Shetland Museum on Hay’s Dock, where fascinating exhibits reveal the island’s secrets and traditional boat-building demonstrations take place.
Don’t miss the intricately stained glass in the 1884 town hall and the impressive St. Magnus Cathedral, built in 1863. With roots dating back to Neolithic times, Lerwick features historic sites like Clickimin Broch, a Late Bronze Age farmstead, and Fort Charlotte, a fortress erected in 1653.

Welcome to Iceland! Today marks your final full day aboard Seabourn Venture as you arrive at Heimaey Island, the largest of the Westman Islands. Known for its dramatic sea cliffs, Heimaey is home to over eight million Atlantic puffins, the world’s largest nesting population.
The island gained the nickname “Pompeii of the North” after a volcanic eruption in January 1973 destroyed half the town and nearly blocked its harbour. Today, it boasts a host of culture and over four-thousand residents, with archaeological evidence of settlement dating back to the 10th century.

- All cruise bookings have a 48-hour ‘Change of Mind Guarantee’ where any monies paid (less unrecoverable costs) within 48 hours of the initial purchase date will be refunded – no questions asked.
- Bookings outside the 48-hour ‘Change of Mind’ window will be non-refundable and non-changeable. Cancellations outside of the 48-hour ‘Change of Mind’ period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

- Preferred airline seating is the responsibility of the passenger. For any specific airline seat reservations, contact the airline with the booking number included on your cruise summary email.
- A checked baggage allowance of one 20kg bag and carry-on luggage of 7kg applies. Any additional baggage must be purchased at the airport by the customer.
- Upgrades: Cabin upgrades are available and start from A$6,700 per person for business class seats. Please note that cabin upgrades are subject to availability and may not be available on all flights.
Flight Change of Date: The change of date fee is A$200 per person, plus any applicable additional airfare and taxes. Once tickets have been issued, a A$350 airline change fee must be paid, plus any additional airfares and taxes.

Itinerary
- In the event of strikes, lockouts, riots, weather conditions or mechanical difficulties, or for any other reason, any scheduled sailing or port of call may be subject to change.

Passenger Restrictions
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied, in the same or connecting cabin, by a parent or other responsible adult over the age of 21 for the duration of the voyage.
- Infants under two years cannot be accommodated onboard.
- Guests who will have entered their 24th week of pregnancy or later at any time during the cruise cannot be accommodated due to safety concerns. Pregnant guests under 24 weeks must provide a doctor’s letter upon request confirming fitness to travel and estimated due date.
Travel Insurance
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Luxury Escapes recommends purchasing travel insurance as soon as possible after purchasing this package.
Passports & Visas
- A visa may be required. It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure they’re holding a current visa for the countries they’re visiting. If the traveller is on a non-Australian passport, a valid re-entry visa may be required.
- Important: Please start arranging your visa at least 6-8 weeks prior to departure to account for any delays due to consulate operating hours and processing time.
- A valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond your return travel date is required for all passengers (including children and infants).
Health & Vaccinations
- Travellers are advised to check recommended vaccinations with their local health professional at least 45 days prior to departure, as some vaccinations require 30 days or more to be effective.
- Proof of vaccination is not usually required unless you are coming from an infected area.
- Proof of Yellow Fever vaccinations is required for entry into some countries, in particular in Africa. Please check with your health professional that you hold the appropriate vaccination entry requirements for your destination.
- Guests may be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 from our ground operator prior to embarkation. Please contact the Luxury Escapes Cruises Concierge team on cruises@luxuryescapes.com for further information.
- Important: The hotel, transportation and/or destination you are travelling to may have health, insurance and vaccination requirements in place. Please ensure you stay up to date with any requirements prior to your departure.

- Travellers acknowledge that they are required to have a good level of health and fitness to undertake any activities in this package. Further, travellers acknowledge and agree that neither Luxury Escapes nor the third-party provider will be able to provide medical or other assistance in the event that they are unable to complete any aspect of the tour as a result of their health or physical condition (nor is Luxury Escapes liable for any loss, damage, expense, injury or death arising from such).
