Take a trip to Levanto’s ‘Laboratory of Pesto’ for an indulgent pesto-making experience. Learn how to make Italy’s famous basil sauce with a traditional mortar and pestle and the freshest ingredients. Over the course of two hours, you’ll sample delectable local nibbles like bruschetta with anchovies and taggiasche olives paired with local wine, learn to sample and select premium extra-virgin olive oils for cooking with and, of course, try a taste of your own handmade pesto.
