A piece of paradise in the Indian Ocean just off the coast of Perth, Rottnest Island is a favourite day trip for tourists and locals alike due to its white-sand beaches, turquoise bays and quiet bike paths. Travel by high-speed ferry from Northport in Fremantle and enjoy more than six hours on the island however you please. Popular activities include snorkelling, cycling and searching for quokkas – the island’s most famous resident wildlife. Please arrive at the ferry terminal at least 20 minutes prior to the departure time to ensure a comfortable boarding.
