- Tours require minimum numbers to operate. Franz Josef Wilderness Tours reserves the right to cancel tours if numbers are not met or in the event of adverse weather conditions
- Child policy: Must fit provided life jackets to be able to participate
- Tours proceed rain or shine. In the case of inclement weather, tours may be cancelled at the discretion of Franz Josef Wilderness Tours for participant and staff safety
- Wildlife sightings are by their nature, wild, and therefore cannot be guaranteed
