Cancellations

• Flight cancellations require a minimum notification of 48 hours prior to departure
• Cancellation notice of 48 hours is required for a full refund claim and 24-48 hours, for a 50% refund claim
• No refund applies if booking is cancelled inside 24 hours

• Accommodation transfers are not offered at Townsville base. Taxi transport is recommended due to limited parking at General Aviation

Important:

• Must be aged 18+ for alcohol consumption
• Minimum two passengers required to proceed
• All helicopter flights are restricted to operation during daylight hours
• Unsuitable weather conditions may require changes to advertised flight paths at short notice
• All helicopter pricing is per seat, independent of age
• Children aged 3+ are legally required to be seated in their own seat and are therefore required to pay the full ticket price. Subject to conditions, infants aged 0-2 may travel free of charge when seated on a parent’s/guardians lap. For bookings of more than one infant, please contact Nautilus Aviation directly as aviation conditions apply
• Payload limits apply to all aircraft. Accurate individual passenger body weights are required at time of booking
• Maximum individual seat weight limit of 130kg applies

Terms & Conditions:

• A fuel surcharge may apply to the ticket price. In such cases, any charge will be collected on departure, payable directly to Nautilus Aviation. No fuel surcharge is presently applicable
• Passenger minimums apply for all Nautilus Aviation’s partnered packages with Reef Operators. Minimum of 2 passengers for all other listed packages and tours. All passengers must receive a safety briefing prior to departure and wear life jackets if travelling over water
• Nautilus Aviation operate a fleet of helicopters with individual specifications. The maximum single seat payload is 130kg. For passengers exceeding 130kg, aircrafts seating four or more passengers are required for private charters and for listed tours and packages, an additional seat at 50% of ticket price may need to be purchased direct with Nautilus Aviation for passenger comfort and aircraft weight and balance
• All tours are subject to availability and weather
• Tours and aircraft substitutions are subject to management and/or pilot discretion, weather, air-traffic control and availability
• In the event of bad weather, providing there is availability, date changes are welcome or in the worst-case scenario, cancellations. Please note, if half the paid tour was possible, the component not experienced will be refunded, not both

• Camera – polarising filter for best results
• Sunglasses – polarised recommended
• Appropriate walking shoes
• Sun-smart clothing including hat
• Sunscreen (SPF 50+ recommended)
• Swimwear and towel
• Personal items should not exceed 10kg carried in a small soft-sided bag for easy stowage
