• Precise departure times will be provided when your booking date is confirmed (approximately 4am in summer, 4.45–5.30am in autumn and spring, and 6am in winter)

• Meeting Point: Please meet in front of the Ipswich Visitor Information Centre – 14 Queen Victoria Parade, Ipswich QLD 4305
• Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your check-in time. Late arrivals and no-shows void voucher
• After the flight, breakfast is served at Fourthchild Restaurant, a three-minute drive from the Information Centre

Important:

• Free parking is available at the Ipswich Visitor Information Centre. Free and metered parking is also available at Fourthchild Restaurant Cafe & Restuarant
• Please note, breakfast upgrade may not be available on public holidays, pending external restaurant supplier opening hours. Customers will be notified prior to flight if this is to occur
• Check-in time for tours varies based on the time of sunrise and fluctuates depending on the time of year
• This is a private hot air balloon tour for five to ten people
• There are no weight restrictions for any of the tours. At the time of booking the weight of each passenger is collected to ensure proper weights and balances of the hot air balloon. This information helps allocate the appropriate amount of passengers per balloon for everyone’s comfort while ensuring passenger safety
• Flight time is approximately 60 minutes. Please allow up to four hours for the entire experience
• Transfers are not included in your experience

Terms & Conditions:

• Hot air ballooning is weather dependent and all passengers are asked to check in with Floating Images Hot Air Balloon Flights via phone the night before the flight from 7–7.30pm for a weather report
• Valid for day and package type selected at time of purchase – please make your selection carefully
• This experience is not suitable for children under 6
• Minimum height of 120cm tall applies for all passengers
• No pregnancies at the time of flight
• No broken bones or recent surgery at the time of flight
• Passengers must be able to stand for the duration of the flight (approximately 60 minutes)
• Passengers should be able to jump off the second step of a ladder
• Must be in good general health
• A signed waiver of liability is required for all guests flying and/or riding in the vehicles
• Flights are subject minimum passenger numbers, weather and flying conditions and may be altered or cancelled at the discretion of Floating Images Hot Air Balloon Flights
• If the flight is cancelled due to unsuitable weather conditions, the breakfast will not take place
• Floating Images Hot Air Balloon Flights is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings, injuries, or damages sustained from participation in hot air balloon tours or tethered hot air balloon rides
• If a passenger is 15 or more minutes late to check-in for their hot air balloon tour, Floating Images Hot Air Balloon Flights has the right to cancel the passenger(s) hot air balloon tour and no refund applies

Cancellation:

• Any flight altered or cancelled between 8 and 14 days prior to flight date and time will incur a cancellation fee from $25 per person. This may be charged directly at the time, deducted from your refund or credit will held against the rebooking of your flight
• Any flight altered or cancelled between 5 and 7 days prior to flight date and time will incur a rebooking fee from $50 per person. This may be charged directly at the time, deducted from your refund or credit will held against the rebooking of your flight
• Any flight altered or cancelled within 5 days prior to flight date and time will forfeit the full fare per person and will not be refunded
• Missed flight: If you, or any member of your group, fail to show up for the flight or do not arrive in time for the flight and miss the scheduled flight date; the full flight fare (100%) is forfeited and no rebook or refund will be made. You may send someone else in your place if you wish – please notify the name and estimated weight of any replacement person at least 12 hours prior to your flight time

Changes to Booking:

• 12 hours’ notice is required to change a booking you have made
