Discover the wonderful world of bush tucker on a 1.5-hour walking tour in the Bangalow Parklands. Follow your guide, Bundjalung woman Delta Kay, along Byron Creek as she points out a variety of edible bush tucker, as well as plants traditionally used by the Bundjalung people for medicine, jewellery, fibre, tools and weapons. Sample unique bush foods, hear traditional stories that have been passed down to Delta from her ancestors and keep your eyes open for glimpses of Binging the river turtle or Junbung the platypus!

- The walk is conducted at a reasonable pace, however, a moderate level of physical health and fitness is required
- Explore Byron Bay ask that guests always stay on designated footpaths and look carefully where they are walking as there can be some uneven or slippery surfaces. They also ask that guests keep a safe distance from wildlife

- In the case of severe weather (heavy rain and dangerous winds), Explore Byron Bay will have to cancel a tour and guests will receive a full refund, or they can join another tour. Tours will still go ahead in the event of light rain and wind
