  • From Ferry Terminal:
  • On the day, please take the Fullers 10am ferry sailing from Auckland – Waiheke. Ferry tickets can be purchased online to save time on the day: www.fullers.co.nz
  • A representative will be waiting on the Waiheke Island Matiatia wharf to welcome you. Please look out for The Wine Tasting Company signboard with the company logo on it
  • Please use the toilets onboard your ferry service before your arrival and try to be the first to disembark on this side to save a bit of time, as some of the vineyard tastings are a 15-minute drive away
  • If you have booked a wine tour on a weekend day, you will need to arrive down to the Auckland ferry terminal by 9.15am at the very latest, to join the queues to ensure that you get a seat on the 10am ferry sailing from Auckland – Waiheke.
  • From Your Accommodation on Waiheke Island:
  • Pick-up is available from your Waiheke accommodation, please email info@thewinetastingcompany.co.nz for details if you have not included this into your booking already
  • Should you miss the 10am sailing, as this is a shared group tour and the tour is on a set schedule, they are unable to wait. You will be required to make your own way to the vineyard to meet up with the rest of the tour group

Important:

• Ferry tickets and any additional food or drinks not expressly mentioned are not covered by your tour price. Any excess amount must be paid directly to the vendors
• Please notify at the time of booking of any dietary requirements and menu preference
• The tour will organise a lunch reservation at one of the tour vineyards or a beachside restaurant. Please note that the cost for your lunch meal and beverages is not included in your tour price. Any excess amount must be paid directly to the vendors

Terms & Conditions:

• Please note that all participants of this experience must be 18+ and carry valid photo ID
• The Wine Tasting Company reserves the right to use alternate vehicles and operators. Itinerary is subject to change with no notice
• The consumption of alcohol is not permitted in tour vehicles. Intoxicated or rude passengers causing a disturbance will be requested to depart the vehicle and no refund will be provided
• Passengers who soil or vomit in the vehicles will be charged a cleaning fee of NZ$50–NZ$300. This will either be charged to your credit card or cash payment
• The Wine Tasting Company will not be held responsible for any damage caused intentionally or otherwise to people, property or venues and the passengers and/or organiser will be held liable to cover any additional costs incurred
• The tours operate in varying weather conditions, during extreme weather events your tour operator will review the situation and confirm any cancellations by 8am on the day
