If you’re short on time in Byron Bay, head on a fun half-day breweries and distilleries tour that kicks off in the afternoon. Hit the beach in the morning then get picked up at your accommodation for a visit to two local breweries and a distillery. Sample their delectable brews and learn what unique techniques make them hop with a behind-the-scenes look. If you love what you’re tasting, grab a six-pack or bottle and cure what ales you later in the night! Whether you’re travelling solo or in a group, this social session is a great way to spend an afternoon soaking up the sights of Byron while tasting some tantalising brews.

- Half-day Afternoon Breweries and Distilleries Tour (approximately four hours)
- Tour of up to three locations:
- Two breweries and one distillery
- Tasting paddle at each location
- For non-beer drinkers, alternative drinks are available at the breweries including cider, wine, ginger beer and seltzers
- Pick-up and drop-off from selected hotels in Byron Bay, Lennox Head or Ballina available
- Available: Wednesday – Saturday: 2pm–6pm

- After you have made your booking request, you will automatically receive confirmation of your requested date (if available) to your nominated email address
- Please note: Behind the Barrel Byron Bay will be in contact within 1–3 business days to confirm your booking and arrange a time with you directly
Things don’t always work out, so enjoy peace of mind knowing that the following cancellation options are available to you.
- Up to 7 days after purchase - 100% Cancellations
The following cancellation fees apply:
- Once you have commenced the tour or between 0 (day of tour), and 48 hours before the tour, late arrivals and no-shows: no refund
- 3–7 days before the tour: 50% of the tour price paid per person
- 7+ days or more before the tour: 20% of the tour price paid per person, less a non-refundable processing fee of 5%
- Please contact Behind the Barrel Byron Bay directly in any instance of cancellation, as you may request to change the name on the tour and gift it to someone else. Transfer fees apply
Changes to Booking
The following transfer fees apply:
- Between 0 (day of tour) and 7 days before the tour: $20 per person transfer fee
- 8 days or more before the tour: no transfer fee

- Wednesday tours will not be available from June until October

Important:
- Please let Behind the Barrel Byron Bay know if you have a preferred venue to visit when making your booking and they will advise if they can accommodate the request
- Service of alcohol may be refused to persons deemed intoxicated
- Any person deemed unruly or disruptive can be removed from the tour and will not be entitled to any refund
- Please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking
- Please allow up to six hours for this experience

Terms & Conditions:
- Must be aged 18+ for alcohol consumption and provide valid ID upon request
- Any food and drinks not mentioned above are not included in the tour. Any excess amount must be paid directly to the vendors
- Itinerary and stops are subject to change without notice, which may be due to opening days, renovations or new releases
- All tours require a minimum of four guests to commence, depending on the specific itinerary. If the minimum number is not reached, Behind the Barrel Byron Bay reserves the right to change or cancel any booking
