Great location and rooms. The pool is delightful in the summer season and has the best view. Vikram was great at listening to feedback and went over and above to ensure we had the most comfortable stay, even arranging a special meal in the restaurant for my daughter when she was too young to enjoy the full buffet.

Perfectly situated hotel for a Sai Kung vacation, just a short walk from the town center. A lot of wow but some distinct negatives unfortunately. Negatives: The big one is the “smart mirror” over the sink in the room (not in the bathroom). The screen is incredibly bright and cannot be turned off, according to the duty manager. We hung two towels and a bathrobe over it (see photo) but it was still very bright at night. There’s also a flashing smoke detector on the ceiling that alternates between small flash and big flash which disturbs sleep. The reading light is weird. If you move it just a bit, it can slam down on itself (see photo). This is more than a peeve, because the glass on the LED bulb will smash into the raised light switch, so it’s sooner or later that one will shatter and lead to a lawsuit. Soundproofing is terrible. We were placed next to a bridal suite and their celebrations sounded like they were happening right in our room. Our room was very long. The raised luggage space is on one end, and the desk, chairs and bed are on the other. Could be good or bad depending on your preferences. Now for the WOWs. Check-in staff extremely professional and efficient (note no room cleaning after 6 pm). Aside from the mirror issue, the bathrooms are really great. Our room had a two person bathtub. The shower floor tiles had the best foot-feel I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The curved glass wall turns opaque with the click of a button. Rain shower much appreciated. Temperature hot and constant. Overall hotel layout unusual but oh so interesting. Restaurants are underground, but since the site is sloped, it doesn’t feel “lower”, more like “sunken” and “cozy”. The hotel pulls off boutique and minimalist luxury feels. Bed is amazing and the mattress is the perfect springiness. Special mention goes to the mattress being larger than the base, so you’ll never hit your toe at night. Suggestion: install mosquito netting on balcony rooms, so guests have the option of switching off the air conditioning and going to sleep to the sounds of waves.

When we first arrived the hotel, it was a bit weird that there’s no doorman is gonna help with the suitcase and carry on, as they claim that’s a 5 star luxurious hotel, then we reflected it to the front desk and by the day we left, they do have enough ppl to provide doorman service, we really appreciate the hotel take the advice seriously. We booked the place to do staycation for few days, and our puppy have a happy stay here, the balcony room is perfect for her, she do had fun and love the outdoor area. The morning breakfast is good, sitting outside is nice in the early October with gentle breeze. We also love the hotel layout, which is easy access for dogs owner to walk their dogs and enjoy the nature next to the hotel. Overall, we have a great experience here, and we can’t wait to come back.

This is my second stay in WM. My first one was great. However, this time, things just kept happening. We were given a sea room and the fuse tripped three times in a single hr. We were offered another room but firstly, the larger toilet flush button was out of order; then, the air con smelled bad the next morning; lastly, our door key is out of order when we try to get back after breakfast..... Other than that, the staff are generally helpful and nice especially those at the front desk. I wonder why the facilities are wearing or out of maintainence. Hope it will improve as I like here lot.
