Now this is a NICE luxury hotel. No bathtub, but shower is nice. Everything about this room was great, it was LARGE. View wasn't good, we got the back of the hotel. Fancy bottled water was included. The lobby was posh. There was room service with western food choices. The bed was comfy. For the price, it can't be beat. If it wasn't so far from Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe, would've just booked this hotel all 5 nights and just take train every morning to different locations...

Although the hotel has only been open for a mere two weeks, we can confidently say this was the best hotel experience we have ever had. The service and hospitality were truly exceptional. Every staff member—from the front desk team to the waitstaff and even the general manager—went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. Our room was absolutely amazing, and we greatly appreciated the prompt attention to our needs, including the provision of a firmer pillow to ensure our comfort. If only we could have extended our stay beyond the five wonderful nights we had! We are already looking forward to our next visit and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an amazing getaway. A big thanks to everyone we met ❤️!

Everything was good except for the lounge. Since it's a new hotel, the facilities were perfect and comfortable. If they raised the price of the executive floor and set an age limit, it would be on par with the neighboring Ma○ott. I don't need a lounge with kids running around.

I stayed here for four nights during fall season and found the hotel to be very comfortable as it is a brand new property located next to the JW Marriott. What attracts me most about the hotel is the new comfortable room, coin-operated laundry room, and quiet location. However there is not many restaurants within walking distance around this property as it is located in a very quiet neighborhood – the nearest convenience store is also at JW Marriott’s attached convention center. Also the walk from the nearest train station (which links directly to Kyoto), it’s not that easy to drag one’s lugguage as the pavements are mostly loose gravel. The hotel does provide a timed shuttle bus to nearby subway stops and the main attraction area, but for me, I relied on the public bus network as I was exploring towns outside Nara. If you want easy, five minute access to the towns attractions, then this hotel is not for you as a walk to the main temples is around 30 minutes away, although it is a relatively easy walk as the surface is flat, if you miss the hotel’s shuttle bus.
