I obtained information on this hotel for future reference. I can say that the location is excellent, about three to four city blocks from Union Station. It is also convenient to the museums/art galleries, Chinatown, downtown, and churches. It is a very walkable location. The prices available for rooms seem very reasonable and affordable for the location and convenience. From the website, the rooms appear to be very clean and comfortable. The common areas also appear to be very nice. I do wish that they would offer continental/complimentary breakfast for all guests/rooms.

This was my first time in Washington D.C. and I really liked the city. One of the reasons was that I was able to stay at this hotel. I am Japanese, and I was a little worried about communicating in English. But women employee (sorry I lost her name) went out of her way to print out a Japanese explanation and give it to me. This was my first experience in the U.S. and I was very happy. I was also happy that she communicated with me in one-word Japanese. I think the rooms and location are basically fine. It is a little far from downtown so it is quiet and safe at night. There are restaurants nearby, so breakfast is not a problem. I would go back to this city, and of course I have a hotel in mind.
