Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. It all starts with the warm welcome, we arrive in a magnificent structure, immersed in the jungle and we understand that we are in a rare place, of a very high level. The attention to detail and the kindness of the staff will accompany us throughout our stay, The VIP experience and the services offered make the difference: Beach club with white beach, Water park with 22 meter high slide, Golf, Cuisine and restaurants of all kinds but the nugget is the chance to attend a Cirque du Soleil show tailor-made for Jungala, incredible, To do at least once in your life.

It has been almost a week since we’ve been back and I had a lot of time to reflect on this vacation at Jungala Park Hotel. Overall a great family stay with a few kinks. Disclaimer: we went during the busiest week-Christmas to New Years. I was worried as it was advertised as a new resort, but I received only one message from the hotel via expedia. I called 1800 number to provide them with our flight information to arrange transport, only to find upon arrival that it was not arranged. We did manage to find Vidanta van at the airport and talked them into taking us (I had to sign for some charge which was later voided by the front desk staff) Without further adieu, the resort is not brand new. It is remodeled part of one of their other hotels, Grande Luxxe. We did not mind it a bit. Lush tropical jungle-the grounds are amazing and, considering, that we are in the jungle-they did an amazinf job with mosquito and other insect control. Beautiful, spacious, comfortable rooms. The main bedroom was a treat with comfortable beds a d bedding. The living room where kids slept had 2 trundle beds, both pretty hard. It took a while for the water in the shower to heat up, but we knew what to expect and started shower way ahead. Housekeeping was great and our items were always organized. They removed kids bedding from the couches daily, and I had to call them in nightly to make their beds. The restaurant were plenty, though a bit pricy for Mexico. In the morning, our breakfast was included and we chose Quinto-a quiet, beautiful buffet where the staff knew us and how we like our breakfasts by day 2. Front lovby staff was always extremely pleasant and helpful. Edgar, Alejandro and Melanie were always on point. Transportation to and from restaurants/pools/beach clubs were spotty. Sometimes it was instant, sometimes we waited for a golf cart 10-15 minutes. We opted to walk a lot too, and all the pathways were in a shady, beautiful jungle. We also got 4 free tickets to Junagala Water Park-it was a treat of a place with no lines. Kids got to experience every ride multiple times. Grand Luxxe Pool-which is exclusive only for Grand Luxxe and Jungala Hotel guests was great. It was heated and there were always beds either around rhe pool, in the mangrove (my favorite due to shady areas) or the beach. The Beach Club-main selling point from the Expedia pictures-was great, though water in the pool was cold, and on the first day, we waited in line 40 minutes to get our seat assignments. Another thing I did not like was paying for tickets for New Years to see fireworks. For a family of 4 we paid $250 to come and see fireworks. We could have stayed and danced, as they were open till 4 am, but I have a small child who wanted to sleep after fireworks. There was no food included but I think fireworks should be included in the price of the hotel. This was also the cheapest option. Now my least favorite part of the vacation-the beach. I am very much a beach person, not a pool one. Beach was the biggest letdown and disappointment as there was no swimmable beach. It was all rocks, coral and seaweed and my kids did not go in even with swim shoes. We did manage to find a swimmable beach but it was a 15 min walk, and outside of Vidanta area. Just because of that one factor I would not come back again.

"Don't be fooled by the website pictures! There aren't many sunbeds, so most of the time there's no space in the nice pool you see in the pictures. However, you still have plenty of pools options to choose from. I wouldn't give it 5 stars, more like 3-4. The suite is spacious, but what I didn't like is that you have to wait for the shuttle to take you around. There are 7 hotel in the resort, and every time you need to wait 10-15 minutes for the shuttle. Taking a taxi from the hotel takes 30 minutes. I booked this hotel without reading many reviews, so I didn't have much information about it . The staff is very friendly, but it takes a long time to get services like room service or housekeeping. So overall 3-4 Stars this is what you get😊

This will be a long post. If you are willing to wait 10-15 minutes for transport to any area in this resort, this is the place to go. I am physically disabled, and at night, there is only one cart. Therefore, I walked at night. If you are going, do NOT stay at Jungala Park Hotel. The check in process was almost an hour! And, first they take to you a lobby, where you have to wait for transport to your hotel. Stay at the Mayan or Tres Luxe hotels. The Jugala Aqua park was good. The pools are very crowded and there are only a few daybeds. The restaurants all require reservations. They are expensive, but not bad. Everything is charged to your room. We had many problems with our room in Jungala Park Hotel. First, our thermostat was broken, we had no hot water in the shower, and our sink had brown and red water. And they don’t do a good job cleaning. They managed to fix it all, but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. The staff is very helpful and courteous though. I wouldn’t go here again mainly because of the transport issue.
