Hi, I first came to this hotel 13 years ago and I must say that since that year it has been my first choice in Istanbul. My first date with my girlfriend was here and I have very good memories of this hotel, I am currently staying in this hotel for the next week. First of all, I will talk about the good things about this hotel and then I will point out some things that could be improved. The hotel staff are very lovely and polite and will help you as much as possible to have a good stay. The hotel rooms are perfectly standard, the lighting in the rooms is very smart, there is no white light, but natural and sunny light is used which gives you a sense of peace and comfort. I remember staying in the corner rooms on the top floor a few times and they were great, especially when it rains and you can hear the sound of the rain hitting the roof which is very relaxing. I am fighting cancer and came to this hotel to relax, hoping to get one of those rooms, but apparently those rooms are no longer standard rooms and have been converted to suites. But the room I have now is quite good, although it does not have a view, but it is quiet. The hotel breakfast is very good and can get a full score. The cleanliness of the hotel is very good, everywhere is very clean, even the pool, it has a fairly good pool, which of course could do with a minor renovation, for example, some lights are burning and the jacuzzi is not working. Although they put up a notice saying that parts of the hotel are under renovation, whenever we wanted something, they brought it to us as soon as possible, I must say that it is completely safe and if you do not use the safe, nothing will ever be taken from your room. The only problem we are facing now is that the air conditioning system is not temperature-adjustable, even if you set it to 30 degrees and turn the fans to the highest setting, you may shiver from the cold for hours during the day, I do not know exactly if this is due to a technical problem or because of the energy consumption policy. And of course, for example, our blanket had a small stain on it from the first day and it still hasn't been changed after 3 days, even though they clean the room and change the towels every day. Overall, I can say that if you come to this hotel, it will be very difficult to go to other hotels in Istanbul. I hope this good hotel gets better day by day and maintains its good quality. Updated review: The next morning, Ms. Yalda from the reception called and offered to change our room to another one, and also explained that the hotel's jacuzzi was working fine. Well, I must say, this shows the hotel's respect for guest opinions and I am happy with the new room on the upper floor with a very good view, thank you Crown Plaza.

Absolutely liked everything about this hotel. From delicious dining options to cozy rooms with beautiful views, everything exceeded my expectations. The exceptional guest relations ( Mr Umut) at this hotel impressed me. He were always friendly and asked how our stay was going every time we walked in for breakfast.

Good hotel.. The room was spacious and well-maintained.. Onder at the front desk was very helpful and looked after us well! He was friendly and attentive, and made our check-in smooth.. Had a great stay and happy with the overall experience..

I recently stayed at Crown Plaza Harbiyaa so called five-star hotel My experience was marred by a significant issue – the air conditioning in my room 2211 was not functioning properly. On a warm evening, it became uncomfortable very quickly. I contacted the reception 5 times to ask for assistance, a couple of times I went directly to reception as they are not answering telephone calls and while they were polite, their solution was far from satisfactory. They advised me to simply open the windows and sleep with the room ventilated that way, which felt like a poor response for a hotel of this caliber. Considering the level of service expected from a five-star hotel, I was disappointed by how this issue was handled. The lack of a more immediate solution, like offering to move me to a room with functional air conditioning or providing an alternative, left me feeling 🤬😡😠
