The JR Chitose rail station is just a seven-minute walk from the hotel where you can reach Sapporo, Hokkaido’s capital, in 30 minutes. The hotel is located approximately a 15-minute drive from New Chitose Airport (CTS). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

Nice clean hotel that primarily serves flight crew, but it can also be a good choice for regular travelers. The buffet is above average and the location is great, although the room is not that spectacular. Still, the fact my family and I asked for help for tiny problems several times and they are mostly willing to help is the best.

The room was a comfortable size, neither too small nor cramped. It was clean and surprisingly quiet despite facing the city. The hotel's location was convenient, just two train stops away from Chitose airport. A major plus was the Family Mart located right in the hotel lobby. We were given rooms on the 7th floor. The water pressure was good.

This was my second stay at the ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose, chosen for its proximity to New Chitose Airport, making for an easy early morning flight. We booked a Junior Suite for three adults and one child, including breakfast and an anniversary dinner at Shikotsu restaurant. Positives: Convenient Location: The hotel is ideally situated next to AEON Mall, offering easy access to shopping and dining options. Smooth Check-in: The check-in process was efficient, and the staff acknowledged my IHG Platinum status with appreciation. Spacious Suite: The Junior Suite was generously sized by Japanese standards, well-appointed, and modern. Negatives: Child Breakfast Charges: Despite booking breakfast for three adults and one child, we were informed that we have to pay an additional JPY1400 for the child's breakfast. The hotel's explanation that breakfast is not included for children, even when breakfast is purchased as part of the room rate, was disappointing and contrary to my experience at other hotels. Anniversary Dinner: The anniversary dinner set menu was only offered for adults, a detail not specified in the booking. This forced us to order a separate à la carte meal for our child, which I felt was very petty and unthoughtful. Overall: While the hotel offers a convenient location and comfortable accommodations, the unexpected charges for the child's breakfast and the exclusion of the child from the anniversary dinner left a negative impression. These seemingly petty policies detract from the overall guest experience. Recommendation: For future stays, I would likely consider the Best Western Chitose, another hotel near the airport that we have previously enjoyed.

Not sure is it because of winter there was no bellboy to help with the luggage when we arrived at the hotel in the evening Check in was timely and the front desk staff is polite and professional as part of the Japanese culture Room was dated and lighting was inadequate in the toilet. No additional bedsheets, pillows and comforters were provided despite stating upfront during reservation there is a total of 3 pax. Had to go to the front desk and request for the additional items and was delivered timely For a night’s stay is fine but do not recommend it for more than a night due to the lacking of some basic room items which we would expect from a typical IHG brand accommodation
