Over 5,000 acres of skiable terrain lie just outside your door at Vail Ski Resort, while a multitude of restaurants, après ski decks and bars can be reached by foot or via Vail Village’s free bus system. The hotel is located approximately a 35-minute drive from Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

My recent stay at the Sebastian Vail was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding. The bell/valet staff, in particular, deserve a special mention—they were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and helpful, making sure every detail was handled with care. They set the tone for a truly luxurious experience. Joe’s service was top-notch every time we saw him. His knowledge of the area led us to some amazing restaurants and activities we might have missed otherwise. The whole team is fantastic. The hotel itself was stunning, with beautiful decor and all the amenities one could ask for. The hotel's new bar is an absolute gem and Garrett, the bar manager, is wonderful and extremely knowledgable! The attention to detail creates a sophisticated yet welcoming vibe. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Vail—you won’t be disappointed!

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel—more like a luxury resort—right in the heart of Vail Village. The pools, hot tubs, bar, lobby, location, and restaurant were all incredible. A special shoutout to Joe, the Bell Captain at The Sebastian, for providing exceptional service from the moment we arrived. With a warm smile and impeccable attention to detail, Joe went above and beyond to make our stay seamless. Whether it was assisting with luggage or offering great local tips, his professionalism and positive attitude made a real impact. His dedication to guest satisfaction truly made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

We were trying to make a decision of where to stay in Vail and American Express recommended this hotel, which did have good reviews. There was some confusion of the ski and ski out location as this is not a true ski and ski out hotel. it is about a 10 minute walk to gondola one and there is no on site rental or storage however, they do work with a local rent shop. The base camp that they use is not in the hotel, which was confusing on their website making it seem that it is part of the hotel. Upon arrival we treated very nicely by the night receptionist. We inquired about any upgrades and were told the hotel is sold out coming to find out the next day that it’s only at about 50% occupancy. The rooms were clean and appeared to be updated. The outside pools were comfortably warm with the hot tubs being adequate although became crowded very fast when we use them in the evenings after skiing. They do have a valet service with great staff that was able to drive us around town and quick. The restaurant serves a good breakfast and Cornelius our waiter was phenomenal. He made sure we had a great start to our day. The service is lacking at the hotel of this caliber and took multiple calls and nearly 30 minutes of waiting to get stuff that we were missing from the room. This is a nice hotel and is conveniently located, however would be better if the service was improved to match the caliber of this hotel.
