We had a 5 month old baby with us and the entire experience was so accommodating and kind for us, especially when we needed the concierge help us call a restaurant in Japanese to cancel a reservation for us due to change of plans. The amount of water we needed for our baby's formula always took up the usual 4 bottles but the front desk was quick to respond to our request for more sent up to our room. Truly a pleasant and convenient stay - we're eager to return every time we're in Osaka!

Brilliant service from Concierge and Reception. Very knowledgable and extremely helpful in terms of finding our way around and local knowledge for recommendations.
The location was brilliant , particularly if you are using the train stations. Easy walking to Dontonbori shops and eating area and great access to train for day trips to Nara etc.
Rooms very clean and excellent housekeeping. Couldn't fault it. Highly recommend.

I've always stayed at this hotel every time I come to Osaka for its super convenient location. However, I was slightly disappointed with this most recent visit. The room is dated. The shower temperature couldn't be retained for more than a few minutes, the water will suddenly become burning hot and cold randomly and it's rather annoying. The wifi was very slow and sometimes can barely load any videos. The staff service is still nice although I don't feel the warm welcoming like before.
I just feel it isn't worth the price anymore as there are plenty of selections in this area.

As a Platinum member who had booked a suite for a six-day stay, I was initially disappointed with the first room I was assigned. The space felt outdated, almost reminiscent of a 1960s casino. While the room was spacious and clean, it had some significant issues. The floor flooded every time I took a shower, and the window in the bedroom was PAINTED OVER . Honestly, it felt like the worst room in the entire hotel. We considered leaving immediately.
I was understandably frustrated, but the hotel informed me that no other rooms were available for the first three days of my stay. After suggesting a refund so I could find alternative accommodations, I was moved to a much nicer room the following day. It was located on the same floor as the lounge, which seemed to have had some recent updates. This new room was much better, and I must give a huge thank you to the front desk and concierge teams, who were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Their professionalism really made a difference, and I want to emphasize that the room quality wasn’t their fault.
The lounge itself was pleasant, especially during cocktail hour. It offered a great view, plenty of space, and tasty snacks. However, I wasn’t impressed with the breakfast options. We ended up going downstairs on some mornings, but the line was long and chaotic. Depending on our plans for the day, we alternated between the two. The staff in the lounge, however, were outstanding — friendly, patient, and attentive.
As for the bed, it was quite firm — perhaps too firm for my taste. While I usually prefer a firm mattress, this one felt more like sleeping on a rock. A mattress topper would have been a welcome addition.
The location, though, was fantastic and probably the biggest reason I’d consider returning. It’s perfectly situated with easy access to the markets, Den Den Town, and public transportation.
I feel like management knows about the issues since they reply to the other reviews and don't do anything about them. So the poor staff on the desk cop the brunt of the complaints.
If someone replies to this review and says "thanks for the feedback we'll so zero about it" I'm changing this to a one star review :)
