I enjoy all the omni hotels, but this property is one of my favorites. The rooms are spacious and always clean. In my opinion, this property offers the best value for your money. The Mandalay Bay suites come with a walk out balcony, some of which overlook Carolyn Lake. The view is beautiful and we were able to enjoy several firework shows from our room on New Years Eve. Gondola rides on the lake can be booked for a romantic evening. The are several bars and restaurants in the hotel and within walking distance to the properyl. The food I sampled at the restaurants in the hotel was pricey and not too my taste, but that is just my personal opinion. The staff is always friendly, helpful and professional. They genuinely seem like they enjoy their jobs and are happy to help. Overall, this is a beautiful hotel with a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for couples or families.

Stayed there on Fri Oct 18.2024. Hotel is at a great location, property is reasonable well maintained. I was attending a wedding there. Rooms were OK (but not really worth the price). Staff attitudes were very poor. I was given a room where they failed to mention that the water was going to be shut off from 10 to 4 - till after they assigned me the room. The younger girl at the front desk was gruff and not very pleasant. Later on the next morning, it was the same girl, who on the phone refused to extend my stay. She appears to have some chip on her shoulders against brown folks. I simply came down and the guy at the front desk extended it with no problem. The bartenders had a really horrible attitude - the one guy I ordered a drink from acted like I was from an outer planet and he was doing me a favor. 90% of the staff of the hotel seem be using the little power they have in their jobs to feel playing favorites with customers on their own terms. Will avoid this hotel in the future.

I wanted to share some feedback about my recent hotel stay. There were both positive and negative aspects of the experience. On the positive side, the rooms were clean and the kitchen staff was great. However, I was disappointed with the valet service. They did not offer to open doors or assist with luggage, which I think is a basic expectation. If this is the hotel's policy, automatic doors would be a helpful addition. The front desk staff was adequate. Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience at the hotel's bar/restaurant. The staff was rude and unwelcoming to guests, and the food was poor quality. The most concerning incident involved a young woman who was intoxicated and unable to communicate. While I understand that it may not be the hotel's responsibility to handle such situations, the fact that she was a guest means that it did become their problem. I was disappointed that the staff's solution was simply to put her outside. Fortunately, a group of guests intervened and ensured her safety. Overall, my stay at the hotel was mixed. While I appreciated certain aspects, the negative experiences, particularly the incident with the young woman and the poor service at the bar/restaurant, left a lasting impression.
