I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel’s ambiance, its convenient location near shops, spas, and bars, and the well-maintained swimming pool. The staff’s warm greetings, with smiles and “Bula,” added to the welcoming atmosphere. The Fijian music playing in the walkways and restaurants, along with the floral decorations, created a delightful vibe. The front desk and porter staff were exceptionally welcoming, especially the young girl and porter boy on PM shifts. They greeted us warmly every morning and whenever we passed by, showing genuine dedication and pride in their work. The conference room service was also excellent, with fresh pens and notebooks neatly arranged each morning, a comfortable environment, and a well-functioning sound system. The staff were prompt in addressing any concerns, making the experience seamless. The restaurant offered an impressive selection of food, with a breakfast menu that catered to diverse preferences. As a Pacific Islander, I appreciated the inclusion of rice, a staple we enjoy at every meal. The waitstaff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the positive dining experience. However, the rooms, though spacious and well-equipped with essentials like an ironing board, TV, and toiletries, had several issues. The bedding wasn’t refreshed during our seven-night stay, and the carpets had an unpleasant odor, forcing us to buy air fresheners. The beds were made daily but not dusted, and the towels were simply ironed and reused. The bathroom had strands of hair on the floor, and the tub needed cleaning each night due to visible debris. Overall, the room fell short of expectations, during our eight-night stay, toilet paper wasn’t restocked, and we had to call the front desk twice for more. Other issues included missing saucer plates, a fridge that wasn’t cold enough (our ice cream melted), and ineffective air conditioning. While the hotel had many positives, the room experience was disappointing
