First of a notice: this Class of Hotel is normal above my pay-grade, so if you frequent in top Hotels around the world a few of the things I will mention might sound mundane to you. As someone who does not give 5 stars too often, I want to start off by saying that the InterContinental Resort Mauritus does definitely deserve it. The overall Hotel has a nice layout, two pools, a long clean beach, four restaurants and a few other activities included. (Snorkelling, Waterskiing, etc.) The rooms are cleaned and spacious. The living space as well as the bathrooms offer all the features you would expect from a luxury hotel. Even a fancy free standing bathtub was included in my room. (Also general amenities like bathrobes, hair dryer, etc are available) Very importantly for anyone who is not used to the high humidity, much like me, the rooms do have very well functioning air conditioning. The room service is always very nice and do their job of cleaning up the room and „refreshing“ it thoroughly. Same goes for the staff in the restaurants. Always eager to help and very polite. Everything you could wish for. Also, definitely enough staff to even handle more busy time frames. A special thanks to all the staff that made an extra effort to make my birthday at their place unforgettable. I got some special decoration from the room service and when I went for dinner, I was surprised by a special, and very delicious, birthday cake as well as my very own Happy Birthday Song. All in all an amazing experience staying here. One thing I will point out is that ensure you visit at the right time. I visited end of February and had an cyclone closing down a few things during the second half of my stay.

Best stay I've ever come across. Food and services are great. Resort is outstanding. It offered us a great view with superb complementary activities. Must visit place. If I could give extra stars.. would definitely give 10 stars..extra points for the cleanliness and lovely staff.

Very beautiful hotel & resort. We loved every minute of our stay. Special shout out to Laxman. He was an excellent host to the family whilst we were staying at the resort. He was very welcoming and professional at all times. He catered for our every need with a big smile on his face. He went above and beyond in ensuring we were comfortable and mad sure we had everything we needed. He kept our room clean at all times, thank you very much.

This isn't our first time at Intercontinental Resort Mauritius. We celebrated our son's birthday recently at the resort. As usual, we had a very warm welcome. Hospitality was great. Service was excellent. Staffs go out of their way to make your stay a memorable one. They can always be seen smiling. Their attentiveness to details is truly commendable. We really recommend this hôtel to everyone.
