We had a lovely three night stay! A quiet oasis in the bustle of Siem Reap. Great location, lovely pools and kind and helpful staff! Special thanks to Sophie for making our stay so special.

Very nice hotel, pool(s) and service! Definitely recommend. My stay was just over a week long. I enjoyed their breakfast buffet days as opposed to a la carte days, when they didn’t have as many guests. It feels a bit inconsistent if you happen to be a guest on “slower” a la carte days? One suggestion that I feel might make a better experience for both guests and staff— and this is for all hotels, not just The Aviary, but I would love it if hotel staff used more Khmer words to help teach us tourists/foreigners? …with greetings, food words, even signs throughout the hotel? I am native to English, so it’s comforting in that sense, but I find it is difficult to learn any Khmer with only hearing English. I would rather see Khmer ways passed to the West, as opposed to the other way. Cambodia and its people are wonderful and help set an example for the world 😊

The Aviary Hotel exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. A special shoutout to Sophie, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on, and she was so sweet and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The rooms were spacious, well designed, and very comfortable. The hotel’s location was perfect for exploring the city. We also loved spending time by the pool—it was a great way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The highlight of our stay was the Khmer compress massage at the spa, which was absolutely perfect after running in the Angkor Wat marathon on Sunday morning. It was so relaxing and exactly what we needed to recover. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise. Highly recommend The Aviary Hotel to anyone visiting!

The Aviary Hotel offers a pleasant stay with well-designed rooms that are comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, although there was a slight issue with smell and air circulation. The location is convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the night market, making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast is basic but sufficient to start the day. The hotel features two pools, which are great for relaxing. Service is good, with attentive staff ensuring a smooth experience. Overall, a solid choice for a stay with a few minor areas for improvement.
