We were greeted by the lady at the check in desk and she was friendly and helpful. Another gentleman from the check in desk was super friendly and wished us a happy Chinese New Year and offered us fortune cookies and had a chat, asking what we were in town for. He also said we could ask the concierge downstairs for any events that will be on for Chinese NY. He was really helpful, friendly and made us feel welcome. Much appreciated as we had not stayed with you before. We were in room 363 and it was very comfortable and quiet. (We have stayed elsewhere in the city and found the accommodation noisy for sleeping with lift noise and other room noise. Beds were dreamy comfortable too. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was delicious and a good menu variety for families.

This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to many restaurants, bars, theatres and many more. The food is absolutely amazing don’t miss out on the buffet breakfast! The dinner at the hotel’s restaurant was incredible! The atmosphere of this hotel is so inviting, it has everything you need to get the holiday feel. We have been as a couple and as a family. The kids loved the pool and the tennis courts. We loved it and will be back again soon! 10/10

Rooms good. Bed was great. Food very good. But the parking on Saturday night was an absolute nightmare. I stayed 5 nights at the Novotel particularly for the parking, but obviously they had a function on Saturday night and when I came back to the hotel there was no where to park my car, even though I had a multi-use ticket for five nights! There was a few unoccupied spaces (and they seemed an allocated as they did not have a notice on them as the others did) at the front but they would not let me park there. So I simply had to sit and wait in my car until somebody left the car park so I could then go in but there was a barrier stopping me! It took a few phone calls to find out how to get this barrier removed. Two lovely men who had obviously just finished work at the Novotel simply picked it up and moved it so I could go inside the parking area. A bit stressful and I decided I would not stay at the Novotel again if the stay involved over a weekend!

The girls at check in were lovely and had a good knowledge of local events. Location is good, fairly central to everything, our only gripe is we paid for a room with a view and it was barely a view, we got a side-on, pretty obstructed view.. The shower had bad pressure too. But all in all, still had a nice stay. Nice linen and comfy beds.
