We recently stayed at Chevron Renaissance in a two-unit apartment, and it was perfect for our family. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Our children absolutely loved the Lagoon Pool! It was definitely the highlight of our stay, with plenty of room for them to splash around and enjoy the water. The pool area itself was beautiful, and it made for a very enjoyable and relaxing experience for the whole family. The hotel was in a great location, and the service was fantastic. The apartment setup gave us the space and convenience we needed, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We highly recommend Chevron Renaissance for anyone visiting with kids—it’s the perfect spot for a fun, family-friendly getaway! We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

The room was fantastic, even the bed was very comfortable. Staff at the reception was very helpful too. All together we had a perfect stay. Reason not giving 10 points is the smell that comes from the rubbish chutes, located next to the lifts. On a day with 30+ it’s a quite nauseating odour. Not pleasant while you wait for your lift to arrive.

Easy booking, lovely room a little dated but everything worked well- few burn marks on carpet but post schoolies so likely from then. One elevator has a strong vomit smell that has been covered in cleaner or spray which made it worse. Lovely reception only issue is they have a level 2 car park and it's not listed in the elevator so we didn't pay attention parked, went down the elevator to leave for the day, wasn't on 3 or 4 so we were lost went to ask reception and they said check level 2. So that needs to be updated upon leaving someone else was doing the same thing 😂.

So many issues with this Hotel, unfortunately. We had to change rooms. 1st room was ferral. Sticky, wet & dirty carpet. Bathroom & kitchen dirty and greasy. The whole room stunk on mould. 2nd room was much better, but unfortunately we all got bitten by bed bugs. The staff was incredible, helpful, lovely. However, this whole hotel needs a renovation + standard hygiene regime needs to be in place.
