I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Mercure Solo. As an Accor member, I was delighted to receive a generous upgrade upon check-in, a wonderful touch. The hotel's lobby lounge is a charming space with exceptional staff. Their friendly demeanor and helpfulness contributed significantly to my overall experience. The room, while showing some signs of age, was impeccably clean and well-maintained. However, there was a noticeable odor in the room (2022) that might be bothersome to some guests. Personally, I was able to manage this with perfume, but it's a factor to consider. The breakfast buffet offered a satisfying variety with daily updates to the menu. Overall, my stay at the Grand Mercure Solo was pleasant, with the upgrade and lounge experience being the highlights.

Location is good, next to a mall, stay there for the convention that was held in the hotel. Staffs were friendly. Got an upgrade room, the bed was super big, it was super king size (more than 200 wide, maybe 240 wide). Overall, it was a good stay, it just the facility is a bit old and worn out, but clean, no major damage.

Room are spacious... cozy bed and great pool. The food's standard, some menus are delicious. If you have to go to Sukoharjo, better stay at this Hotel.

It was kind of just okay for a five star hotel. The gym is not 24 hours, only from 6 am to 8 pm. The pool water is too cold, even when solo is scorching hot. The kids playground could be better. The food is good but not exceptional. The room is also nice, but no bathtubs and has a weird design (a window between the bedroom and the bathroom, so you can see your spouse do number twos(?)). The channel selection on the tv was kind of lacking. The staff was kind and helpful.
