Refundable Cancellation Policy

Accommodation bookings can be cancelled with a full refund provided the cancellation is made no less than 1 day prior to check-in. That is cancel by 11:59 pm (local time of property) 1 full day prior to the day of check-in. Excludes flights.

Great hotel, staff were very friendly, location was fantastic, i recommend asking for room 504, great view from the private balcony, overall would totally stay there again.

➕wonderful accommodation in the heart of Valletta. room furnishings friendly, clean and fragrant. Breakfast is served next door in the hotel in the form of an offer to the table, but a limited selection, otherwise you have to buy extra. A big thank you to Tom - a warm welcome and farewell. ➖ two connected rooms - one lacked a large mirror, and the air conditioner was placed directly above the bed and the air blew directly on the person. which was quite annoying

We are 3 nights into a 5 night stay. We were very excited about our stay but its been a slight disappointment. The place is lovely and perfectly located and the staff have been great but it's very difficult to get a good night sleep. Very early in the morning we can hear staff preparing but they're slamming stuff around downstairs. It's shockingly loud - slamming, banging, shouting. IDK if its the cleaning staff or the guys setting up the restaurant (Cheeky Monkey) downstairs and I really can't imagine what they're actually doing but it goes on for hours and really makes it impossible to sleep beyond 5am ish. Few other things are a sewage smell each afternoon and then the electrical fittings in our room don't work too well. TV doesn't always work and looks like its going to fall off the wall. We should have asked to be on a much higher floor and perhaps in the main hotel, Rosselli

Pros: Location right in the centre of the city so everywhere was walkable. Beautifully appointed, spacious and clean suite. Decor was classy and amenities were good. Fridge to keep water, snacks etc. Well kept public areas. Lovely staff in pub downstairs, sadly food options non existent for our dietary requirements. Housekeeping were incredible, despite being invisible! Cons: First floor suite directly overlooking the pub underneath. Pub and/or adjacent pub very, very, very noisy on weekends. Not great for light sleepers, coupled with noise from store in morning, scraping chairs, staff hollering loudly etc. Check in - arrived in pouring rain about an hour before check in. Room not available but that's perfectly fine. What wasn't fine was the cold and indifferent attitude of the gentleman on reception who didn't suggest we enjoy a cold drink being offered to others and wait in lobby, but told us to go for a walk! Yes, he kept our bags but was very hostile. Polite but lacked warmth or pleasant demeanor. Other guests were being offered wine etc. Perhaps this is because we had to check in at their sister hotel several doors away. In addition we were not told we were welcome to use any facilities at that hotel. I've seen reviews saying people used their pool. We weren't even told there was one. When we returned, our bags had not been taken to our room and we struggled, in the rain, uphill, to the hotel we were actually staying in. Again, other reviews have mentioned being helped, shown the amenities etc. Nothing. Furthermore, I booked room only. My booking clearly states this. When told the times for breakfast I pointed this out because I didn't want to take something I'd not paid for. The receptionist snarled at me that all rates include breakfast. I tried to show him my booking he waved me away. In fact he attempted to speak solely to my husband the whole time even though I booked and paid for the room! We did not go for breakfast because when we asked if they catered for our dietary requirements we were told to ask the staff working there. Why would we go there for breakfast only to find out we couldn't eat anything?! We didn't see a single member of hotel staff for our whole stay. Not even housekeeping. Felt more like a boarding house than a hotel. The entrance door was frequently propped open allowing anyone to walk in. With no hotel staff this made it feel unsafe. Daily water in room was a carafe with rubber lid. Unsure if water was from tap or bottle so only used in kettle. Rubber was dusty every day so when you poured the water it became full of dust. Although the Cons may seem minor to some people, the lack of sleep particularly Thursday to Saturday night, and the very disappointing check in (poor first impression) means we wouldn't return here.
