After breakfast, meet in the hotel lobby for an early departure from Nairobi, heading south for new adventures at Amboseli National Park.
Dominated by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, Amboseli is one of Kenya’s oldest and most well-known parks. Despite its compact size, the park offers expansive views, with emerald-green swamps where large herds of elephants bathe.
Check in at your safari lodge and enjoy time to relax or explore. In the afternoon, if time permits, embark on a game drive through the park.

Spend the day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. From the dried lakebed of Lake Amboseli to the rolling savannahs and green swamps, search for jackals and spotted hyenas, baboons and monkeys aplenty, all with the help of your expert guide.
Later, you’ll visit a Maasai manyatta (village) for a one-hour cultural immersion. Learn about their customs and daily life, with the chance to join a friendly jumping contest.

Say goodbye to Kenya as you cross the border into Tanzania at Namanga, on your way to Tarangire National Park. Named after the Tarangire River, the park’s lifeblood, it’s home to a rich variety of wildlife and the iconic baobab trees scattered across the plains.
Check in at your safari lodge and and enjoy a relaxing evening in preparation for your safari tomorrow, or opt for an afternoon game drive if you’re eager for more adventure.

Spend your day getting to know Tarangire National Park with morning and evening game drives. Watch for the African elephant, a rare cheetah and even the oryx, as well as over 500 bird species such as hornbills and hoopoes.

Rise early for breakfast before setting off for Karatu, the gateway town to the UNESCO-listed Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Nestled near Serengeti National Park, Karatu is a favourite base for wildlife lovers.
Enjoy a scenic drive and a picnic lunch en route, followed by game drives across the vast plains of the Ngorongoro Crater – the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera – as you explore its unique ecosystem.

Ngorongoro Crater game drive
After breakfast, set out toward Seronera in Serengeti National Park, known for some of the best predator viewings.
Stop for a picnic lunch and take in the ever-changing landscapes teeming with wildlife. Today also includes a visit to the legendary Olduvai Gorge, often referred to as the ‘Cradle of Mankind’, where some of the earliest records of humans were discovered.
Continue your scenic drive with game sightings along the way, before arriving at your lodge for check-in and a relaxing evening.

Over the next two days, enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, spotting wildlife against the backdrop of the Serengeti’s distinctive kopjes – rocky outcrops that rise from the plains.
As wildebeest and zebras follow their annual route through the Serengeti, predators, including lions, cheetahs and hyenas, are never far behind the herds.
As evening falls, unwind with a classic safari sundowner for the perfect end to your day.

Another day dawns in the great Serengeti. Fuel up with breakfast and strap in for another full day immersed in the rhythms of the wild. Explore new areas of the park, track wildlife with your expert guide and witness the raw drama of predator and prey unfolding across the plains.
Then, relish another refreshing sundowner as you reminisce on a day well spent.

After breakfast, depart Serengeti National Park for new adventures with flight transfers to Tarime, Migori then the Maasai Mara.
Upon arrival in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, you will be escorted to your safari camp in time for lunch and check-in.
Spend the afternoon unwinding in your tent before heading out on your first game drive in the area as the day cools. Home to the ‘Big Five’ – lion, rhino, Cape buffalo, African leopard and African elephant – the Maasai Mara is one of the top wildlife destinations for year-round sightings.
Return to camp for dinner and reflect on your first impressions of this renowned landscape.

Maasai Mara stay
Wake up to two full days of exploring the park in search of the ‘Big Five’, as well as a Maasai village visit.
The Maasai Mara is home to a rich variety of wildlife, with over 450 species recorded. You might spot lions resting in the sun, crocodiles in the waterways, roaming giraffes and warthogs, and various antelope throughout the reserve.
With around 570 bird species, including 50 types of birds of prey, there’s plenty to see from the treetops to the skies.
The Great Migration sees wildebeest, zebras and other herds travel between the Serengeti and Maasai Mara. Between July and October, over 1.5 million animals take part in this journey, making it one of the largest wildlife events on Earth.
Maasai Mara stay
Your final day in the Maasai Mara begins with morning and afternoon game drives, offering one last chance to spot wildlife and soak in the beauty of the savannah. Keep your eyes peeled for new sightings.
As the sun sets, trade the traditional dining room for a multi-course bush dinner under the stars – set beside a river or out on the open plains. Maasai Mara stay
After breakfast, check out of your Maasai Mara accommodation and take an included transfer to Nairobi, arriving by midday. Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden, set on the historic grounds once occupied by the author of Out of Africa.
After lunch, you’ll be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO), where your East African adventure concludes.
