Through the window, you’ll catch sight of the sitting room, which is on the left of the entrance hall. Two dusky sofas sit beside the white-draped windows, and opposite them there’s a simple wooden dining table for four. But this isn’t a subdued space – well-chosen antiques, a glossy upright piano and shelves full of books give it real character. The rest of this home’s rooms are down on the lower-ground floor, where you’ll find a hallway leading along to a toilet room, the double bedroom, the two single bedrooms (one with ensuite bathroom) and the main bathroom.
