Changes to Booking

24 hours’ notice is required to change a booking you have made

• This experience takes place in an alpine environment during the winter and early spring months, so please dress warmly
• Woollen garments and layers are recommended
• Wear a warm hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
• You may need sunglasses for your flight but goggles are provided for when riding the snowmobiles
• Bring your camera and Go Pros. Drones are not permitted at all

Availability:

• Available every day (June – September, snow permitting): Tours run 9am–11.30am, 11.30am–2pm or 2pm–4.30pm (approximately)
• Pick-up/Drop-off points: Return coach transfers included from selected Queenstown locations, please see them here
• Meeting point: 35 Lucas Place, Frankton - Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters. Free parking is available for Queenstown Snowmobiling guests if selecting to self-drive to meeting point
• Please note your preferred pick-up/drop-off location at time of booking. Guests must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to pick-up/departure (if self-driving) time

Important:

• Please allow up to two hours for this experience, including return scenic flight and snowmobile activity
• Late arrivals and no-shows voids offer
• Child policy: Guests must be aged 15+ to drive snowmobile. Children aged 6–14 ride as pillion passengers to an accompanying adult. Minimum child age is 6 years.

• For aircraft weight and balance purposes, please advise at the time of booking if any passenger exceeds 83kg (CAA standard weight)
• The away times (flight duration) specified in the flight tour itineraries are approximate and can be subject to weather conditions. On occasion, flight paths and landing locations may change at the pilot’s discretion. Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters will always keep you informed of any changes to the published information

• Tours and aircraft substitutions are subject to management and/or pilot discretion, weather, air-traffic control and availability. If Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters cannot fly due to adverse weather, they can transfer your booking to another day. Alternatively, if you would prefer, they will refund you in full
• Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters will not be liable for any loss, damage, additional expenses or inconvenience arising from, or incidental to, any delay in service
• Glacier Southern Lakes Helicopters works in conjunction with other tour operators and is not liable for their acts or omissions, whether negligent or otherwise. Travel and admissions will be subject to the conditions imposed by the operators, which may limit or exclude liability for personal injury or property damage
• Queenstown Snowmobile tour is classed as an adventure activity and carries a degree of risk; as such guests need to be aware that they cannot absolutely guarantee their safety. Queenstown Snowmobiles are the provider of the adventure activity and have been assessed to meet or exceed the Health and Safety at Work (Adventure Activities) regulations 2016
