Make Mother Nature smile as you learn about native plants that prevent erosion and rebuild lost sand dunes on a fascinating 40-minute tour. Immerse yourself in the intricate root systems of these native plants and discover how each species symbiotically works together on this one-mile stretch of stunning shoreline.
Inclusions
- Valid for one person (2+) (*under 18s must be accompanied by a paying legal guardian aged 18+)
- 40-minute tour learning about native Hawaiian shoreline plants
- Guests can find their favourite plant and an employee will tour with you to find the plant the perfect home
- Admission to the Meeting the Farm Animals program
- The revenue from this tour will be donated to a 501©(3) nonprofit organisation called the ‘Friends of Akiana Bay’, which provides support for coastal shoreline restoration projects utilising native Hawaiian plants
- US citizens will receive a tax-deductible letter for their tour donation and a one-year free family membership from the ‘Friends at Akiana Bay’ organisation
