Welcome to the breathtaking Top End! Meet your guide early this morning at 6.45am at Mantra on the Esplanade, ready for a pre-departure briefing, dressed and ready for the day's hikes.
Litchfield National Park beckons today. Discover the magnetism of this 1,500-square-kilometre national park, famous for its crystal-clear waterholes, gushing waterfalls, majestic termite mounds and rugged Tabletop Track. Your first hike is an easy 1.6 kilometres of wildlife-spotting as you traverse the popular Wangi Falls track. You will have the chance to swim at the base of the falls, so be sure to bring your bathers and a towel.
Following lunch, you will embark on the easy-to-moderate 5-kilometre hike along Walker Creek, where you will have the opportunity to admire the sweeping views and plunge into one of the many sparkling waterholes.
This evening, settle into your accommodation on the edge of the park, and enjoy time at leisure before a hearty two-course dinner prepared by your tour guides.
