The Taaras Beach & Spa Resort is located on Redang Island, off the north-east coast of Malaysia. Surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the South China Sea, the island is home to some of the region’s best dive sites and spectacular marine life, including a turtle sanctuary. The hotel offers a private boat transfer (charges apply) from the mainland to Redang Island, departing two times a day from Kuala Terengganu airport. It’s just an hour’s flight from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu. Public ferries are also available. Transfers are not included, please plan accordingly.

Guests should note that they are required to pay jetty fees imposed by the Malaysian government at the terminal upon arrival. Boat schedule using hotel’s private boat transfer: Departure from Merang Jetty to Resort (12:30 PM, 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM). Departure from Resort to Merang Jetty: 8 AM, 10 AM, and noon. The hotel also provides a passenger boat departing at flexible timings based upon request and availability. Guests should note that additional mandatory Marine Park Jetty fees apply.
