Your cruise begins in Istanbul with one night of pre-cruise accommodation and ends in Venice with two nights of post-cruise accommodation.
Check-in at your pre-cruise stay in Istanbul is available from 2pm on Day 1 (14 June 2025). Your cruise then embarks from Galataport Istanbul at 5pm on Day 2 (15 June 2025) and disembarks at Fusina (Venice) at 7am on Day 16. Check-out from your post-cruise accommodation is at 12pm on Day 18 (1 July 2025). Information on boarding times will be provided prior to your departure date; please ensure you arrive in time for boarding.
Return flights are not included in your package and must be purchased separately. Please do NOT book your flights until your cruise is confirmed.
A one-way transfer from your Istanbul hotel to the cruise port is included on Day 2. Transfer from the cruise port in Venice to your hotel is NOT included with your package, please plan accordingly.

Day 1: Istanbul, Turkiye
The following two days offer a special treat, as you arrive at the one-time capital of the Ottoman Empire, now a modern metropolis packed with art galleries, fashion boutiques, fine dining restaurants and spectacular nightlife. Travellers nostalgic for the time of the sultans will find this city is home to a tremendous amount of ancient monuments and grand frescoed mosques (including the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque).
Istanbul is also famous for its tulips – an enduring symbol of the city – and Turkish baths (called hammams). Both are well worth experiencing for first-time visitors.
Enjoy an included transfer from Istanbul Airport (IST) to the regal Fairmont Quasar Istanbul, your central launchpad to explore the best of the city.

Day 2: Istanbul
You’re at the meeting place of two continents – Istanbul straddles both Europe and Asia – which guarantees an abundance of delicious food, so don’t forget to try the city’s delicacies, including pomegranate juice, simit (Turkish pretzels), boat-shaped pide flatbread and Turkish delight. Yum!
In the early afternoon, make your way to Galataport Istanbul for boarding. Departure is at 5pm, and your magnificent ship, Seabourn Encore, awaits.

Day 3: Canakkale
The Turkish city of Canakkale spans both sides of the Dardanelles Strait, linking the Sea of Marmara to the Aegean. Like Istanbul, it connects Europe and Asia and has a rich history, from the Greek myth of the Golden Fleece to World War I’s Gallipoli campaign.
Canakkale is your gateway to ancient Troy, home to the epic Trojan War and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the ruins, tour the museum, and see the replica of the famous wooden horse. Nearby, you can explore the Gallipoli battlefields or the charming fishing town of Behramkale, near the ancient city of Assos.

Day 4: Izmir
The magnificent Aegean coast boasts many appealing ports of call, with Izmir being a prime example. Birthplace of Homer, this thriving metropolis features fine hotels along its sweeping bay. Though earthquakes and fires have destroyed much of ancient Smyrna, remnants of the 4th-century fort atop Mount Pagos still provide excellent views of the city and the Gulf of Izmir.

Day 14: Hvar
Known as the Queen of the Dalmatian Islands, Hvar is a captivating medieval town on its namesake island, favoured by celebrities and royalty for its summer delights. As the sunniest place in Croatia, it is perfect for leisurely days on stunning beaches bordered by lush forests.
Renowned for producing the world’s finest lavender due to its unique climate, Hvar fills the air with an enchanting fragrance during the blooming season. The fertile land yields hand-crafted wines and olive oil, while the upper part of town features local producers offering delicious hams and cheeses.
Off the coast of Split, the island also surprises visitors with its ancient traditions, highlighted by Stari Grad, the country’s oldest town, nestled by a cove on the northwest coast. Surrounded by dry stone wall structures on the Stari Grad Plain, these remnants from Ancient Greek times hold UNESCO World Heritage status.

Day 15: Rovinj
Rovinj, situated in Istria near the Slovenian border, reveals its Venetian influence as you stroll through its old cobblestoned town. Monuments abound, such as the Balbi Arch, adorned with the winged lion of Venice, and the bell tower beside Saint Euphemia Cathedral, modelled after the one at Saint Mark’s in Venice. From the top of the tower, you can view the entire historical district.
To truly absorb Rovinj’s charm, wander through the ochre and sepia-coloured streets leading to lively squares and terraces shaded by canvas awnings.

Day 16: Fusina (Venice), Italy
Today, your cruise comes to an end in the port of Fusina. After breakfast, disembark and make your way to the Metropolitan City of Venice, home to unforgettable heritage architecture, winding canals and some of the world’s best pasta.
On arrival, make your own way to your accommodation for a post-cruise stay amid Venice’s famed canals.

Make the most of your second full day in Venice, experiencing the unique history and culture of the Floating City with an included tour of the Doge’s Palace and Saint Mark’s Basilica. The rest of the day may be spent at leisure. Perhaps consider strolling through the winding streets of Murano and Burano islands or gliding through the canals on a gondola ride.
