Royal Kona Resort is ideally situated in the heart of Kailua-Kona, a hidden gem on the west coast of The Big Island. With the picturesque Kailua Bay and the heritage Hulihe’e Palace within walking distance, this is the perfect tropical escape. The lively town of Hilo is a scenic 90-minute drive away. The hotel is approximately a 20-minute drive from Kona International Airport (KOA). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

Please Note:

• Daily Mai Tais are served at Don the Beachcomber Restaurant & Mai Tai Bar and are available from 12pm — 9pm.
• Self-parking is available for one vehicle per package only.
• Complimentary pool cabana hire is available for 3 hours daily, between 7am — 5pm. Pool cabanas can be pre-booked via the reservations office or based on availability after arrival.
• Advanced reservations are recommended for Lu’au entry. Included in the Lu’au is an open standard bar, buffet dinner and a Polynesian show.
• The included US$29 resort fee includes: welcome to paradise Mai Tais (one coupon for two Mai Tais in the King rooms and up to four Mai Tais in the double rooms), bottled water on arrival (two per room), access to filtered water stations, daily yoga and fitness classes, daily Hawaiian cultural activities, 30% off court fees, complimentary tennis racquet rentals, US$25 island activities and tours credit, US$20 Lotus Centre spa credit (on 90-minute massages), US$20 greens fee credit, 50% discount on club rentals at Makalei Golf Club and 20% off green fees and club rentals at Makani Golf Course.
• Club rentals must be pre-reserved, guests can call the golf course at 808-325-5044 for reservations.
• Housekeeping service is provided every second day. The hotel can provide amenities such as fresh towels upon request at any time. Guests can reach out to the front desk for service on request.
