7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 45 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you are permitted ONE date change up until 45 days before your original check-in date. Please contact our 24/7 customer service team to enquire. Subject to availability and surcharges.

• Please note that check-in is at Reef View Hotel.
• Access to the following is available to all Palm Bungalows guests: Spa wumurdaylin, Island Hair and Beauty, multiple resort swimming pools and Clownfish Kids’ Club. Additional charges apply to select facilities and services.
• Up to two children (aged 12 years and under) may stay free of charge, sleeping on a single divan with pull-out trundle.
• Daily breakfast may be enjoyed buffet-style at the Pool Terrace Restaurant at Reef View Hotel between 6am—10.30am or a la carte at Sails Restaurant between 7am—10am.
• Children (aged 12 years and under) eat free at Pool Terrace Restaurant and Sails Restaurant when dining with a paying adult and choosing from the Kids’ Menu. This offer is for dine-in only (takeaway, delivery and in-room dining are excluded). Only available when a minimum of one adult meal is ordered.
• Guests have access to the Reef View Hotel pool, Bougainvillaea pool, Main pool and Sails Pool with a swim-up bar.
• The included watersports include catamarans, windsurfers, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and snorkelling equipment.
• The return airport and marina transfers are on a shared shuttle basis with no time restriction. No bookings are required.
• Resort Credit: The included resort credit must be used during your stay. Any unused credit will be forfeited and is not transferable or redeemable for cash. The credit can be used at any outlet that offers chargeback to the guest’s room. This includes a range of restaurants, the spa and tour bookings via the Hamilton Island Tour Desk. The credit is deducted from the total room bill upon checkout. No minimum spend is required.

Great Barrier Reef Cruise Fine Print (select packages only)

• Important:
  • Valid for two adults or two adults and two children (depending on package purchased).
  • Guests must be aged 18+ for alcohol consumption. Journey Beyond Cruise Whitsundays abides by the RSA regulations and has the right to enforce them
  • Please allow up to nine hours for this experience
  • Any excess amount is payable directly to Journey Beyond Cruise Whitsundays
  • Smoking and e-cigarettes are not permitted on board
  • Hotel transfers are not included
  • Drinks are not included
• Inclusions:
  • Eight-hour (approximately) Great Barrier Reef experience
  • Up to four hours at Reefworld pontoon, moored on Hardy Reef
  • Underwater observatory access
  • Onboard bar to purchase snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (own expense)
• Terms & Conditions:
  • Cruise is weather and minimum passenger number-dependent, and may be cancelled at the discretion of Journey Beyond Cruise Whitsundays. If minimum numbers are not reached, an alternate date will be offered
  • Changes may occur due to cruise schedule changes and other factors. If a day cruise is cancelled, a notification to the contact details provided at the time of your booking will be sent
  • Itinerary is subject to prevailing weather and sea conditions, including tides, wind, swell, sun and rain. The vessel’s Master must at their discretion determine the most appropriate course to ensure acceptable levels of safety and comfort for passengers, crew and other vessels
