Mount William Station

Mount William Station is located in Willaura, Victoria, on the fringe of the Grampians National Park. The homestead’s fantastic location means that popular attractions are within easy reach, including the Grampians Valley Lookout and Port Fairy. The homestead is located approximately a 2.5-hour drive from Melbourne Airport (MEL). Airport transfers are not included in your package, please plan accordingly.

Compulsory Christmas Gala Dinner: For stays on 25 December, an additional surcharge of A$250 per adult (13+) and A$100 per child (2–12) applies for the compulsory Christmas Gala dinner. Payable directly to the hotel.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days before the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for a credit up to 21 days before the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

• Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• Daily breakfast is cafe-style served a la carte and includes unlimited orange juice and barista-made coffee.
• Breakfast takes place from 8.30am to 10am.
• The welcome gift hamper is seasonal and subject to change and may include locally-produced olive oil, honey and jam.
• Nightly communal-style dinner is prepared using locally sourced ingredients.
• Dinner is served in the Homestead dining room at 7pm.
• Please notify Mount William Station of any dietary requirements.
• The complimentary daily snacks and refreshments include self-service soft drinks, tea and minibar snacks served in the homestead kitchen.
• Complimentary use of outdoor sports and pool equipment includes tennis rackets, golf clubs and balls, lawn games, fishing rods, pool towels, robes and slippers. Also includes access to swimming pool, sauna and tennis courts.
• A welcome bottle of wine is Grampians Estate shiraz.
• The complimentary farm tour (select packages only) is a 45-minute history tour around the property with the 4th generation owner and includes one round of drinks for two adults. The farm tour takes place at 4.30pm on the day of check-in, with timing subject to change. Final details will be confirmed via email before arrival.
• Smoking is only allowed in designated smoking areas seasonally.
• Smoking is forbidden during total fire ban seasons; please check local council guidelines.
• The Homestead and Shearers’ Quarters are two different accommodation options when staying at Mount William Station and are approximately 750m away from each other. Guests staying in the Homestead do not have access to the Shearers’ Quarters.
• Guests will receive a coupon via email to claim a premium wine tasting at the Grampians Estate Cellar Door (40-minute self-drive from the Homestead). Pre-booking is recommended directly via Grampians Estate. Open daily from 10am.
