Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort & Flights

Located amid lush native vegetation on Kooddoo Island – part of the Gaafu Alifu Atoll in the southern Maldives – Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort is accessible via a 55-minute direct domestic flight from the capital, Malé. Roundtrip flights from Malé to Kooddoo Island are included in your package. From Kooddoo Airport (GKK), a five-minute drive in a shuttle car will whisk you to the resort.

Luxury Escapes Private Charter is operated by Maldivian and is subject to government and regulatory approvals.

Child Policy: Guests under 18 are not permitted and cannot be accommodated.

Green Tax: Please note the Maldives Green Tax of US$12 per person, per day applies, payable directly to the resort.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking until 21 days prior to the original check-in date, however the following fees will apply: $995 per adult (12+) for economy class bookings, $795 per child (2–11) for economy class bookings; $2,995 for adults and children (2+) for business class bookings. The remaining balance, after deduction of the applicable cancellation fees will be refunded to your original payment or credit.

Cancellation can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. If refunded as credit, your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights (outside of your Melbourne to Malé return flight) booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service ONE date change in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges. • Please Note: The baggage allowance on your charter flight will be different to included baggage allowance on your transfer flight to the resort. Please be aware that luggage amounts exceeding 20kgs will incur an additional surcharge, payable directly to the airline.

• All-Inclusive Package includes:
  • Daily buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner at Alita restaurant, lunch and dinner at Vista Mediterranean restaurant (closed on Mondays and Fridays). Atlas Lounge Indian Set Menu Dinner (once per week as per schedule, reservation required).
  • Unlimited daily free-flow drinks (from select menu) include house spirits and wines, signature cocktails and mocktails, beers, soft drinks and pre-bottled juices. In-room minibar with a selection of snacks, chocolates, beers and soft drinks (refreshed once per day upon request, additional refills are charged).
  • Resort activities including complimentary snorkelling equipment, one hour of daily stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking, 20% discount on the Discover Scuba Dive program after completing your complimentary dive trial, 20% discount on any booked excursion, tennis court use, pilates, sound healing, morning fit run, morning yoga, aqua fitness, stretching sessions and 24/7 access to the fitness centre.
  • Bookable instructor-led wellness programs such as pranayama-breathing techniques, ashtanga yoga, beach workout, aqua fitness, mat pilates, hatha yoga, sunset yoga and sunset zumba.

All-Inclusive:

• Surcharges apply to premium label drinks and freshly squeezed juices, unused credits cannot be exchanged for cash or resort credit, the vouchers provided upon arrival must be presented at the respective outlets.
• Prior reservations are required for dinners, spas and other activities and excursions.
• All activities and excursions are subject to availability and weather conditions, offerings are subject to change throughout the year.
• Inclusions cannot be transferred to another person outside of the original booking.
• Laundry service is NOT included in all-Inclusive package.
• Diving insurance is mandatory to take part in any diving activity.
• If required the dive school can provide short term diving insurance (surcharge applies).
• Access to Moonimaa Aiport Lounge at Velana International Airport includes beverages and snacks and is shared with guests from other resorts.

Roundtrip Domestic Malé Flights

• Arrival: The earliest domestic flights depart Malé for the resort at 6.30am
• Departure: The latest domestic flights depart Kooddoo Island at 9pm
• Please note that flight timings are subject to change.
• To ensure flight availability, Mercure Maldives Kooddoo Resort requires your international flight information at least seven days before your arrival date.
• The airport lounge service is available upon arrival ONLY at Malé Airport (MLE) while waiting for your onward flight to the resort.
