Marramarra Lodge

Marramarra Lodge is at Fisherman’s Point on the NSW North Coast. Surrounded by Marramarra National Park and the Hawkesbury River, it’s a true back-to-nature escape, less than an hour’s drive from Sydney (SYD).

There are no roads, so access is only by boat transfer from Mooney Mooney, Berowra Waters or Brooklyn wharves, seaplane or helicopter. Scheduled roundtrip boat transfers between Deerubbun Boat Ramp and Marramarra Lodge are included in your package. Scheduled boat transfers are at 10.30am and 2pm. If you elect the 10.30am transfer service, you will enjoy a light lunch on arrival and lodge facilities, while your room will be made available by 2pm. You will be contacted by the property upon booking to organise.

Child Policy: Guests under 18 are not permitted and cannot be accommodated.

Weekend Surcharge: A non-refundable surcharge per room, per night, applies to all Friday and Saturday nights and is payable at the time of booking. Dates and prices are identified in the Booking Calendar.

Check Availability: To confirm your dates of stay at purchase, click on ‘Check Availability’ and select your preferred package. Use the calendar to browse and select available dates. Dates with a surcharge are identified.

Buy Now, Choose Dates Later: If you want to secure this offer and don’t know when you want to travel please select ‘Buy Now, Choose Dates Later’. This will secure your package and give you the flexibility to choose your travel dates — within the book by and validity period and subject to availability. To select dates post purchase, simply select ‘My Escapes’ under the ‘My Account’ tab and follow the prompts.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings and flights) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date.

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

Please Note:

• Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• Boat transfers are scheduled between Deerubbun Boat Ramp & Marramarra Lodge at either 10.30am or 2pm. If you arrive on the 10.30am transfer, you will enjoy a light lunch on arrival and have access to lodge facilities, while your room will be made available by 2pm. You will be booked on the 10am transfer back to Deerubbun on day of departure.
• If you arrive on the 2pm scheduled boat transfer, you will have access to your accommodation until 11am on day of checkout, with a light lunch at this time and a scheduled boat transfer back to Deerubbun Boat Ramp at 1.30pm.
• Scheduled meal times are:
  • Breakfast: 8am-9.30am
  • Lunch 12pm-1.30pm (please contact the lodge in advance to swap an a la carte lunch for a picnic option)
  • Dinner from 6.30pm
• Special dietary requirements can be catered for, with at least seven days’ notice (or note in Special Requests upon booking).
• Marramarra Lodge will contact guests directly on receipt of booking to book in transfers, boat cruise, spa treatment and other itinerary items.
• Spa Treatment:
  • A choice of either a 45-minute Marramarra facial or a 45-minute bespoke massage. Massage can be deep tissue or aromatherapy, depending on preference, and can be discussed with therapist on the day.
  • The Lodge will make the spa bookings according to availability – guests may be able to have their treatment together with two therapists but on occasion, it may be one followed by the other, depending on therapist availability. Treatment times will be from 9am-5pm, as available. Preferred time cannot be guaranteed. One guest can enjoy both treatments if not of interest to second guest.
• Hawkesbury Sunset Savour Package:
  • The Hawkesbury Sunset Savour package is a picnic hamper with a bottle of wine and is booked for 5pm on the night that the guest is not doing the river cruise.
  • Picnic hamper is a ready-to-go selection of artisan crackers, chicken liver parfait and comte cheese.
  • Guests can choose between a rose, three white varietals and three red varietals for the wine
  • The Lodge will book this on receipt of reservation. One hamper per room per stay.
• Broken Bay Pearl Farm Private Discovery Tour:
  • The Lodge will contact guest directly on receipt of reservation to book in tour.
  • Guests must drive 1.5km (5 minutes) from Derrunbum boatramp to Broken Bay Pearl Farm. Should guests not have a car, the Lodge will ensure they are collected by the pearl farm company.
  • Tour runs for 2 hours.
• Please note, Peninsula Tents do not have TVs.
