What You’ll Love…

The Experiences – Visit World Heritage sites and uncover rare natural beauty

Stand in awe of the unique architecture of Singapore’s Chinatown as you visit Thian Hock Keng, the oldest temple in Singapore, followed by a delicious local lunch and lose yourself amongst the stalls and spices of Little India.

Head into Melaka, where rich history meets lively markets in this once-rich trading port. Explore the city’s UNESCO World Heritage-listed centre along with St Paul Hill and Porta de Santiago, then submerge yourself in the art, antiques, crafts and energy of bustling Jonker Street.

The iconic Petronas Twin Towers of Kuala Lumpur are often featured in film and photography, but the best way to experience this monolithic site is in person. Stand at the foot of one of the largest buildings in the world, watching the sun reflect off the 55,000 glass windows of this architectural giant.

712 square kilometres of rolling green bliss, the Cameron Highlands is one of Malaysia’s better-known landscapes thanks to its farms and plantations brimming with fresh produce and herbs. You’ll get the chance to experience a walking tour through a strawberry farm and a working tea plantation, then head to a butterfly park to watch these colourful insects flutter and dart around your head.

The capital of Penang, George Town, is a place full of colonial treasures and riveting heritage. Experience time-worn buildings and street art alike in this UNESCO-listed city where Malay, Chinese, Thai, Indian and European influences meet in curious harmony.

The Accommodation – Premium hotels in prime locations

Perched amid the cool climate and peaking hills of the Cameron Highlands, the Strawberry Park Resort offers European tinged charm in this idyllic part of Malaysia. A sleek modern aesthetic of polished wood and clean furnishings characterise the charming rooms, while the on-site Thai restaurant is a great place to feast during your downtime.

As your tour begins to wind down, spend time relaxing in the elegant and welcoming surrounds of the Wembley Hotel in Penang. This St Giles Hotel grants excellent room views of the city to the sea beyond, not to mention quick access to nearby heritage sites and a spectacular on-site Japanese restaurant.
