Lotte Arai Resort enjoys an ideal location in Myoko, Niigata, an area renowned for its high-quality powder snow. Make the most of plentiful pillowy terrain with skiing, snowboarding and other adventure activities by day, then relax in natural hot springs and indulge in gourmet dining when night falls. Lotte Arai Resort is a two-hour drive from Niigata Airport (KIJ) or a two-hour bullet train ride to Joetsumyoko Station from Tokyo. Airport transfers are not included in your package; please plan accordingly.

Guests may access a shuttle bus free of charge (reservation required) between the resort and Joetsumyoko Station (West Entrance).

Hot Springs Tax: Please note a compulsory tax of JPY150 per person, per night, applies to all guests aged 12 or over. Payable directly to the hotel.

7-Day Change of Mind ‘No Questions Asked’ Refund Guarantee: Things don’t always work out. Our 7-day Change of Mind Guarantee is there to help. Bookings (except for cruise bookings, flights and deposit fee, if applicable, which are subject to the cancellation terms of the relevant supplier) may be cancelled with a full refund provided that cancellation occurs strictly within 7 days from the date of purchase and provided that the cancellation is made no less than 14 days prior to the check-in date. Excludes flight and service fee, if applicable.

• Cancellations outside of the 7-Day Change of Mind period will not be provided, except as required by Australian Consumer Law, your local law or as otherwise provided for in the Fine Print.

Flexible Cancellation: You can cancel your booking for credit up until 21 days prior to the original check-in date. This can be done via self-service in your ‘My Escapes’ account. Your credit will be valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation. Credits are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Excludes service fee, if applicable.

Please note this does not apply to flights booked with us. Flight fulfilment is provided by the airline(s) selected at the time of finalising the booking. For your air travel, you are bound by the terms and conditions and fare rules of the selected airline(s).

Date Changes: If you need to amend your booking, you can self-service unlimited date changes in your ‘My Escapes’ account up until 21 days before your original check-in date. If you can’t find a suitable date, or still need further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service team. Subject to availability and surcharges.

Please Note:

• Dining inclusions do not include drinks (unless otherwise stated). Menus are subject to change without notice.
• Guests may access a shuttle bus free of charge (reservation required) between the resort and Joetsumyoko Station (West Entrance).
• Daily breakfast is served buffet or Japanese-style set menu at The Plate between 7am and 10am (last entrance is 9.30am).
• From 1 April 2026, the Japanese-style set menu will no longer be available.
• The included one-time dinner is served at The Plate (western buffet style) or Asahi (Japanese dish style).
• Guests may dine for dinner between 5pm and 10pm (9pm last orders).
• Official winter activity information will be announced before the winter season starts.
• Lift passes are provided at check-in. For guests arriving before the check-in time, visit the front desk to receive your pass.
• The included lift pass offers economy access through the standard automated ticket gate.
• Suite packages include a first-class lift ticket, which entitles guests to an express line and earlier access to the mountain each morning (select packages only).
• Pool access is permitted between 10am and 9pm (final admission at 8pm).
• After 6pm on weekdays, only the indoor pool is available.
• The Outdoor Garden Pool is only operated during the summer season.
• Guests under three years of age are not permitted to use the pool. Swimwear rental is not available.
• The onsen is open for use from 5am to 11pm. Large tattoos and swimsuit-wearing are prohibited.
• Suite guests are entitled to a one-time stocked mini-bar inclusive of a whisky bottle, Jack Daniels, Old Parr, beers, Pepsi cola, orange juice, Evian bottle, sparkling water and more (select packages only).
• Lotte Arai Resort does not take responsibility for closing the ski area due to shortage or lack of snow because of natural conditions.
• Guests access the resort via a free shuttle service. Please make a reservation in advance to use the shuttle bus.

• 30% discount on winter activities does not include snow school and clothing/equipment rental.
• Mentioned bedding configuration across all room types is unable to be changed.
